Once called a “Paris of the Middle East,” Beirut is the Lebanese capital along the Mediterranean, flanked by the Lebanese Mountains. Severely destroyed during the Civil War, the city underwent major reconstruction and is now a vibrant place full of nightlife and shopping venues.
Beirut is often considered by many major media outlets to be one of the top cities in the world due to its cosmopolitan nature and commercial development. See it for yourself on Rue Verdun, the trendiest shopping area or the Central District, the city’s historical core, full of modern structures, dining venues and open public spaces.
Stroll down the tourists’ favorite, Hamra Street, featuring plenty of boutique shops, popular cafés and restaurants. Beirut is sometimes called the “Party Capital of the Arab World” so while you’re at it, dance the night off at the clubs at Rue Monnot.
For a bit of history mixed with upbeat nightlife, pay a visit to Achrafieh, one of the city’s oldest and most charming districts. Since Beirut has over 5,000 years of history, a visit to its National Museum and Archaeological Museum is a real treat.
Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport is only a 10-minute drive from the city center and Booking.com has a variety of hotels and apartments in Achrafieh and Hamra for your perfect Beirut stay.
Beirut is one of my favorite cities. It is a vibrant city with an amazing cultural history. Walking in downtown, with the beautiful Souk filled to the brim with budget-friendly and high-end stores, while hearing the call to prayer from the neighboring Al-amin Mosque, lets you know you are in a unique city. Its mix of modernity and history makes it so interesting to walk around and discover. It has a great restaurant scene, if you are a foodie - even vegan, there are lots of options. The French colonization impacted its architecture - mixing Arabic and french styles. You get around with Taxis, everywhere has wifi, and you can surely find someone speaking French or English to guide you. The city actually also has a great gay-scene, with bars and clubs, making it a unique city in the Middle East.

Beirut is a must!
Beirut is a must! Lebanon is small and Beirut is a great location to plan your travel from if you are here for a short trip. If you plan a longer time here, it's worth spending more time in different regions of the country. You can make a day trip from Beirut to pretty much anywhere in Lebanon.

hotel rooms were clean and cozy. all of the staff were really friendly and decent , especially Mr. Ramy. One of our friends forgot something at the hotel after check out. we were already on our way to the airport, Mr. Ramy called to remind us and when we got back he asked the driver not to charge us extra money and that he will take care of this.
The absolute best hotel . I traveled alone & they helped me with all my tours/transportation at good prices and always made sure i was okay . I enjoyed my stay in beirut all thanks to them . The hotel is very close to a lot of restaurants and supermarkets.
The guys at the reception are so lovely & always ready to help. Also the rooms are even more beautiful than the pictures. Thank you hotel cavalier 💕 I will recommend everyone to stay here .
Excellent location in Beirut with friendly staff and everything you need. The only issue I had is not with the hotel, but the moment of my stay - Beirut was on alert due to difficult situation between Israel and Gaza and many facilities, places, objects and even services were unavailable due to this situation.
The location of the place is in proximity of the famous Hamra district and the Rawcheh Rocks.
Rooms were large and spacious. Modern walk in shower. Cool rooftop bar. Good variety of food options at pool. Great salon on site which is great value $20 for blowdry - they were great!
I am going to outline a list of concerns below but the hotel did apologise and offered us a few incentives when we flagged the below but it still did not make up for it all.
Beautiful, comfy and cozy boutique hotel, tucked away in a little alleyway from Hamra St.
Staff are exceptionally helpful, and of course knowledgeable about Beirut. Hotel is walking distance from Hamra where you can find/do everything. Special thank you to Mustafa & Hossam! Will definitely be coming again soon!
Friendly staff, Check-in staff Rawan was able to accommodate me with an early check in. The house keeping staff were brilliant and provided a good room cleaning service. The hotel is located in the downtown area of Beirut and there are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes closeby.

The hotel location is perfect . Right at the heart of Hamra one minute away from Starbucks. The staff are welcoming and friendly specially Nivin and Mostafa very helpful and always meet me with a smile. The room is good for the value of money.
The hotel was in great location with beautiful view to the sea and the city. The staff were soooo lovely and friendly and supportive. It’s very clean and it’s location for a fabulous. I think I’ll always book there in my next visits to Lebanon
The staff was excellent and attentive from the shuttle contact person at the airport to the guy who fixed the room safe when I accidentally locked it. Everyone was friendly and helpful which made my arrival to Lebanon smooth and easy.
Besides the current problems the beautiful country of Lebanon has, the staff made sure we have everything we want and enjoy our stay as much as possible.
We would definitely recommend this Hotel as one of the best in Beirut.
