I could not be happier with the choice to stay here for a little over two weeks as I got my bearings back in Sri Lanka at the start of a long trip for research and work. Sameera has been extraordinarily hospitable, kind, and attentive. More than this, however, he has become my friend. Most nights we hang out on the beautiful deck he has built, drinking a few beers and watching the sun set while sharing stories about our lives and families. I've met many of his local friends, too, and through my time here have come to feel not only completely welcome, but like I belong. If you want a really comfortable place to stay, with well-maintained facilities, consider staying here. But if you want to really get to know folks in the local community and build meaningful connections and amazing memories, DEFINITELY, this is the place for you. I'll be back, for sure.

Home From Home guest house has 3 bedrooms which are available for booking and each bedroom has air conditioning and includes a private attached bathroom with hot and cold water shower facilities. Towels and bed linen are included. The guest house has an open kitchen with fridge freezer and breakfast bar, attached to a comfortable living room with cable TV and free WiFi. These facilities are shared with other guests. Free private parking is available on site. Our studio apartment offers a private room away from other guests. It has air conditioning throughout, a king size bed, private bathroom with a hot and cold water shower; Towels and linen are provided. There is a small kitchen to prepare meals, with kettle, microwave and fridge freezer; but no cooking facilities. Free WiFi is included. Breakfast is available to order on request. Bandaranaike International Airport is 21 mi from the property.
