Our apartment is located in an original 1925 art deco building. There is a 24/7 doorman at the building entrance, who opens the door, operates the elevator, and may help you get settled in the premises. The apartment has been fully renovated to offer up-to-date accommodation in a beautiful, historical surrounding. Plus, it is an inside suite, which makes it quite and comfortable amid the vibrant environment of the historical City Center. The apartment features a spacious living room with a full sofa bed, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bathroom with shower, a kitchenette with stove and electric oven and a laundry area. There is a work station with desktop computer in the bedroom, a cable tv, and wireless internet throughout the place. From the outside corridor, you can see the Torre Latinoamericana, a landmark which for a long time was the tallest building in Mexico City.
We love to travel. For leisure or business, we have been at many parts of the world. When abroad, we have realized that an apartment is a better place to stay than a hotel. It makes you feel more at home, gives you more room and independence, as well as the opportunity to cook or stay home all day long without being disturbed. Not to speak of the fact that an apartment like ours fits four instead of two people. When we are away and stay in an apartment, there are some things that we value a lot. We like a quite environment and a room that can be fully darkened in the night to have a good rest. We also like to find coffee and tea, and a proper kettle to fix it. We appreciate to find a card game or domino in case it rains, and a couple of books different to those we may bring. When we set up this place, we decided to offer those amenities that we appreciate the most. We hope you will enjoy them and we kindly request you to let us know if there is anything else you would like to find the next time you come to visit us.
In the recent time, the Historic Center has been subject to an enormous renovation and embellishment which has included cleaning and illuminating the streets, making them safe, and providing increasing opportunities for leisure. Right now, you will find no place in Mexico City that is more interesting, culturally rich, and worth visiting, than the historical City Center. And you will find few places to stay that enjoy a better location for that purpose than our apartment. It stands five blocks from the Zocalo and four blocks from Bellas Artes. It is surrounded by gorgeous colonial churches and buildings, as well as museums, restaurants, bars, and shopping. You can do all this by walk. If you have the time and fancy visiting other parts of the city, you are still optimally located, as there is a metro station one block away from the apartment. Other metro stations from different lines are within a five-blocks distance from the apartment. The tramway that can take you directly to the beautiful neighborhood Coyoacan passes just one block away from the building.
