Kuala Lumpur was great we spent most days out of this horrible apartment. I would not recommend anybody use Raymond Suites KL at Time Square. Enjoyed the city, overall. Not that easy to use public transportation. We enjoyed the street markets in Kampung Baru and Chow Kit - delicious street food. The night scene in the Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor area was crazy! Best dessert we have ever had was the pistachio kunafa with ice cream at Kunafa Fingers near the Bukit Bintang monorail station. KL is a vibrant and interesting city to visit... it's hot...
KL is a vibrant and interesting city to visit... it's hot and sticky though so dress appropriately (and carry an umbrella!). We visited KL Tower and had fabulous views over the city and countryside - highly recommend KL Tower over Petronas as you are higher and get a great via of Petronas Towers too! Also cheaper and doesn't book up as quickly. We did a street food tour with a guide and visited many wonderful places to eat and saw lots of the city, I would recommend incorporating some sort of guided tour or experience when you're here as you get to see the parts of KL that aren't as obvious. KL is full of interesting buildings and areas, Bukit Bintang is great for restaurants and KLCC for malls and general 'city centre' vibes. We've had a lovely time here and having been to Singapore recently too, they are similar in nature but KL doesn't have the polished side that Singapore has... which we actually prefered.
