Great location, very close to Efteling Theme Park and it has free parking. The loft style room is great for families and large groups, our room essentially slept 6 people. The price is also excellent for the size and capacity of the room. The attached restaurant, bar, and grocery store make family traveling a breeze.

We went to visit Efteling and it was super close. Great walking distance with parking on site. The pottery manger is nice and accommodating. My husband loved the freshly made breakfast.

Kaatsheuvel is but a small town that we visit when we go to The Efteling, one of Europe's largest and oldest theme parks. A wonderful place, nice staff, super modern property and rooms, clean, cozy and comfortable. They have a nice restaurant just downstairs but my favorite spot is the bar with the beautiful terrace! In the Terrace there is a playground and a minigolf for the kids. Perfect to relax with the kids! Also, parking is free :) Great value for money!

We took a 4 day break in Netherlands.
We took a 4 day break in Netherlands. Flew into Eindhoven, rented a car and were able to visit Oertijdmuseum (Dinosuar museum), Beekse Bergen safari, Efteling (theme park) and Kids Wonderland (play centre for kids). Kaatsheuvel is a short drive from Tilburg and Eindhoven and a great base to explore the surrounding areas. If we had more time we would have liked to visit Amsterdam which was an hour and a half drive. It rained heavily on our last day, otherwise we may have got to explore Eindhoven on foot.

I have been to this village 3 times now because I love Yvonne’s Brocante. Her Brocante shop is on the Brabant Brocante Route, so if you are in the market for antiques, then you must stop here. This village is the perfect location for Efteling amusement park as well. We stayed at the GuestHouse Hotel and it was beyond perfect. We could walk to everything. Kaatsheuvel has plenty of shopping and restaurants. Not too big where it is congested and overwhelming, it is just the perfect size. We loved our stay here and would return in a heartbeat. Also, just 10 minutes outside of Kaatsheuvel are the Sand Dunes. It is definitely worth a visit. Right in the middle of lush, green Netherlands are these sand dunes. It is so fascinating!

We loved the Efteling Park However we would recommend going outside Dutch school holidays as some rides had 50 minutes waiting time Food was fantastic especially the breakfast buffet butthe Efteling cafés are expensive. They do have cheaper meal options like Hot dogs in the park. They do not have kettel /tea coffee in the room. The television worked well with extra Efteling channels. I highly recommend this stay to families with young kids.AnoukAustralia

It is clean, newly renovated and safe. We went there for Efteling and stayed two nights - before and after the park. It is a little long to walk (about 15-20 minutes) but a few minutes drive, which was very convenient. There are nice restaurants and supermarkets around.

The place is basically in the national park. At the same time the access is perfect since it is at the entrance to the park. Beautiful routes start there. The house is very spacious and comfortable. 7 minutes by car to the center or big market for example Lidl or Efteling. We had a great time!!!
