A boaties paradise, with access to a private jetty at the bottom of the manicured gardens, the waterways open right out onto Tairua River and when you get home there is a fish filleting bench onsite for dealing with the fresh catch. There is an extra fridge/freeze in the dry room so you won't be short on space to keep anything you reel in. If you ever manage to pull yourself away from this oasis by the water you'll love the Water Taxi service to all Tairua restaurants & Fishing club available for pick up from the private jetty. Also less than a five-minute walk are the local tennis courts, golf course, local shops, and of course the surf beach. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
