Unit 2 is one of four Flaxmill Bay holiday units in a shared complex at Flaxmill Bay 3 minutes drive from the centre of Cooks Beach. This is a fabulous location 100m from the beach. Flaxmill Bay is a small, sheltered somewhat undiscovered bay situated between Cooks Beach and Ferry Landing making it a more relaxing place to stay over the busy summer months, but still close to the passenger ferry to Whitianga and all the local highlights. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
