Breakfast not pre-arranged, but everything provided to facilitate. Angie & Warren did everything possible to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable, they also tried their hardest to assist me with further travel arrangements when others fell through.

Hosts were very welcoming. It was close to the beach and lovely walks. The room was more than big enough with nice touches including fresh fruit, juice and milk available. With recent weather events the hosts kept us updated on the access to the location.

Puka Heights has the most stunning location nestled in the hills above Pauanui and it’s beautiful beach. For us it was an ideal base from which to explore the Coromandel Peninsula and a tranquil and beautiful place to return at the end of the day. Angie and Warren are the warmest and most generous hosts. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Angie and Warren are awesome and knowledgeable hosts. So many treats! Angie thinks of everything. Sunscreen, coffee 3 ways! Very clean, attractive and comfortable. Although no outside space there is a large window with nice sea view.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable Quiet, restful with fabulous views, Angie and Warren were great hosts, friendly and helpful. Breakfast brought to the door and enough food to last all day. Angie always managed to produce the little extra treats while Warren provided a delicious bottle of wine. Could not have wished for more. Not even the typhoon spoilt our stay. Will definitely return.

Not only did this property command outstanding views of Pauanui and beyond looking out in the distance to the Mercury islands, but the hosts Angie and Warren were very welcoming and great conversation. My room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, being away for a work trip and being off season there wasn’t much open that worked in with my schedule but to my astonishment there were a couple of cold beers in the fridge and some snacks to tide me over while I sat back and relaxed before heading out to find dinner, with great guidance of what, where and how from my hosts. Angie went out of her way to prepare me a breakfast as I work in the construction sector and had to be off and on site well before anything close by would be open, it really got me through the day and was exactly (if not a little more than I needed). I was incredibly grateful that my office booked me in with Angie and Warren, Puka heights will definitely be my choice of accomodation in pauanui going forward!
