You can come back from a day at the beach, out on the sea, hiking or mountain biking and take a break from the sun in the living and dining areas. The BBQ will help you feed everyone staying at the bach for the true Kiwiana holiday. Plenty of sheltered outdoor living so you can enjoy some alfresco dining out of the warm summer sun. There is plenty of parking space for you to bring the boat and the local boat ramp just a 3-minute drive away to check out the awesome local fishing. The scenery and beauty at Shakespeare Cliff Historic Reserve, make for a great vantage point for stunning views of Mercury Bay. Go on a guided paddle-boarding experience that is one to remember. Cooks Beach has a local shop for all your immediate needs and you can catch the ferry from Ferry Landing to enjoy all that Whitianga has to offer. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
