Affordable luxury at Kawaha Point. Lovely, generously appointed two level, 4 bedroom home in a stunning setting - the perfect lake edge family holiday location.
Sleeps up to 13 comfortably so is ideal for two or more families wanting to share a holiday experience and costs. Also ideal for family reunions, team building weekends and business get togethers.
Open plan design with two living rooms and access to three separate deck/patio areas. Large deck adjacent to new kitchen has magnificent views over Lake Rotorua and Rotorua City and has a BBQ.
lovely gardens include a spa pool overlooking the lake. Garage has home gym equipment. Home theatre lounge has 65" TV and over 1000 DVD movies. There is a separate conversation lounge or kids lounge with TV and DVD player (with dozens of kids DVDs).
The property is private and secluded with beautiful gardens, yet only 3 kms from the CBD. Short walk to local dairy and bus stop. 1500 m to Skyline Skyrides and luge.
Free WiFi, under floor gas heating and two cosy log fires with wood supplied during winter. All linen, towels and cooking essentials provided. Disabled access.
Boat ramps nearby and 7 kayaks available free for guest use.

I was the Procurement Manager at Rotorua Lakes Council but resigned in July 2022 to focus on running my property as a short term accommodation business and to have more free time to do the things I enjoy. My partner, Lora, lives in Albuqueque, New Mexico and we visit each other regularly.
We love travelling, particularly getting away for weekends and longer in my camper van and cruising. We also enjoy mountain biking and good food.
I enjoy music, movies and English football. I have been offering my home to guests and travelers for nearly 20 years and enjoy meeting people from all over the world and helping them to enjoy the delights of Rotorua. Kawaha Point is an oasis of lovely private properties and lodges on the shore of Lake Rotorua. It is only 3 km to the central city and 1500 m to Skyline Skyrides and the luge. All Rotorua attractions are within easy access and Hobbiton is only 40 minutes away.
My property is private and secluded, is below the road and well away from traffic noise. It is very handy to the arterial traffic routes in and out of the city, to the airport (13kms away), to the beaches of the East Coast, and to the many beautiful lakes of the Rotorua District.
An immensely rewarding city to visit, Rotorua embraces the very best of New Zealand in one easily accessible central North Island location. Rich cultural diversity, a lively arts environment, bustling café and dining scene, unique geothermal landscapes, endless outdoor thrills and adventure, an array of natural assets like forests and stunning lakes, world class mountain bike trails, trout fishing, forest walking tracks and much more - Rotorua delivers it all.
