Wonderful, relaxing, very well appointed. Definitely worth choosing over the hotels by the lake we were considering. Love the hot tub, everything was extremely clean, just perfect.

Stunning property situated on the river that runs from Lake Taupo to the Huka Falls. The main lodge is beautifully appointed and provides seating and dining areas inside and outside. The rooms are equally wonderfully, each having access to a Porch, rolling grass and the river view.

What an awesome place - actually only went yesterday - 29 April 2021. Had a look on the website to see if their café was open - it was - and noticed on the site that dogs were welcome!! WOW, most unusual, but very welcome. Very short ferry ride takes you to the 'island' (?) where all the thermal activity goes on. Lots and lots of stairs, but so well laid out it wasn't arduous at all. Wide gaps between most of them, so easy walking for us and our greyhound. A small dog may have to be carried after a little while ... Exciting walking over the area where the boiling water was literally at our feet! We were there for nearly three hours! After over two hours on the island we then had lunch - cup of tea, sandwich and a cake (cake was delicious!). Such lovely friendly people. Would certainly recommend! First class!!
