On the 1st floor it was intended primarily to accommodate the designers of ceramics for the companies Carvalhinho and Devesas, who moved to the village on a contract with both factories until the beginning of the twentieth century and remained until the beginning of the 1st World War . 1920s to mid-50s according to the older people of the area would run as brothel after that The house would again be occupied this time by several families successively from the beginning of the 60's until the mid 90's and it was during this period that handcrafted ceilings in the house fell apart. In the mid-90s until 2001 the building became a warehouse for building materials. After this period it was again converted to rented houses, where previous landlords changed some of its original interior features. In 2014 the building was purchased by the current owner who slowly and with an exhaustive process of research is trying to recover its original features.
