Great location and the staff are super welcoming, nice and professional. We got a bedroom upgrade once we got there and a lovely welcoming text card with some chocolates which I loved it!
The bedroom is fairly good and spacious.

Spotless clean. Amazing design. A gem!
Also, the staff is super friendly. The breakfast is great. Free, unlimited coffee throughout the day. Amazing little open space near the entrance. Perfect position.
I loved everything about it. These guys know how to run a business that works and make people happy!

I didn't find anything special about this place that I would recommend anyone visit unless you're a surfer. I would say about 3-5 sights worth seeing, but nothing that you can't see anywhere else along the coast. If you're not a surfer, maybe try somewhere else. You need a car unless you love walking hills and long streets with little to nothing on them.

Great surfing beaches for all levels, and lots of availability to hire board and wetsuits and other gear. Lots of lessons available from great expert teachers. Restaurants in town are sublime and the bars are open til 3am. Best place we ate at was a Mexican place called Calavera, Very easy to walk around or get an uber, but also easy by car, lots of parking available unless it's a Sunday! Avoid waiting for your first surf lesson, after 2 lessons you're pretty much a intermediate and can catch waves on your own whilst practicing!!

Ericeira is possibly one of the best places I ever have visited, local fisherman village now with a busy life particularly with surfers, great place to visit, being for relaxing or busy with water activities, the surrounding area is also worth a visit like Mafra and Torres Vedras, and a stone through to Sintra and Cascais.

Ericeira is an absolute gem.
Ericeira is an absolute gem. There are lots of lovely sandy beaches which still feel rustic and not too busy, great surfing for beginners (like us!) and the more experienced, and a really lovely town with amazing restaurants and beautiful cobbled streets.

We stayed in Ericeira for 14 days and we loved it, nice climate if it isn't too windy. We spend most of the time at the beach, kids surfing or body boarding. There are lot's of restaurants in Ericeira and the food is good and there is quite a bit of variety.
With a car is is easy to get to other places like Mafra and Sintra. Sintra, while very beautiful is also very touristy which is detrimental to the experience, as it is with so many places nowadays.

BEAUTIFUL surf town, quaint and picturesque.
BEAUTIFUL surf town, quaint and picturesque. A couple of good coffee shops (Rose) and boutiques (magic quiver). Views are wonderful, easily accessible by car and foot. Some streets can be windy and narrow for a car, so be careful. And after 10:30am the parking was scarce.
Just before you get to the town, there are some great surf shops with skate ramps outside. All in all a great community, outdoors vibe.
Room with balcony was amazing! The hotel was modern, welcoming and stylish, clean rooms, really friendly stuff who gave great tipps for day trips and perfect location. Also, we liked that we could get coffee and tea downstairs the whole day. The hotel was close to a sweet shopping street with many good restaurants just a few minutes away (I highly recommend Cucina 36, Toca do Caboz, Tik Tapas, Gabriel). The beach was also only around 5 minutes away. We really liked it and would definitely book it again for the next time in Ericeira.
The property has the most beautiful view of Sao Lorenco beach, and is such a nice space too … but my favourite part was the people!!
Rodrigo who runs Gundi is the biggest legend ever, and I hope to stay in touch with him! He made my stay amazing, he was the most welcoming and friendly host. Rafa who is volunteering there is so lovely too, she’s an absolute gem. The whole vibe was so welcoming and made me feel so at home. Definitely returning next time I’m in Ericeira, and would 100% recommend to anyone 😊
The place and the location is amazing -- super beautiful design and right in the centre of Ericeira. Vila Ana Margarida Hotel was sparkling clean, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The girl at the reception was extremely nice, friendly and helpful, thank you so much for solving everything so quickly and helping out with everything! The restaurant downstairs is also super nice for breakfast. All in all, amazing value for what you get and more.
The owner is so welcoming and offered us an upgrade. We were in the olive room. The b&b is new, spotless, comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and offers meat, cheese, yogurt, breads, sweets, juice; one day we hadceggs, the next pancakes. The breakfast room is bright and large. Nice balcony, good wifi, and good parking. It's easy to drive to Mafra and Ericeira for day trips. This is a great quiet place if traveling by car.
Great location right in the heart of the town, plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and the beach was only a short walk away.
The hotel has recently been renovated and the new fit out is great, very nice rooms and communal areas both inside and outside.
Breakfast was included and as well as tea/coffee and some fresh fruit and snacks throughout the day.
Would stay again on my next visit to Ericeira
Ericeira is a must if you're in Portugal! The town is charming and the view is absolutely stunning! The staff of the accommodation is super lovely, friendly and helpful.
We could upgrade to a superior, panorama room on the spot, and even the other room 'without sea-view' had a great panorama of the sea. :)
The equipment was great, rooms were cosy and spacious enough.
Great location - halfway between the centre of Ericeira and Lizandro beach where we had surf lessons.
Hotel quiet and clean with a well maintained pool and jacuzzi.
Pleasantly pleased with the welcome pack in the room with drinks and sweets.
We only stayed for 4 nights and were surprised that they cleaned our room and changed towels half way through our stay.
Olivia's house is beautiful, well placed with a stunning view to the seaside, just few minutes away by foot from Ericeira's town centre and best surf spots.
We were welcomed by Olivia - the owner, warmly despite out late arrival. Room was really comfortable, well equipped kitchen downstairs was for our use, as well as spacious common space.
Truly recommend!
Location was lovely - walking distance to cafes and shops, ocean overlooks phenomonal!
Apartment exceptional- space, amenities, cleanliness.
Staff friendly, helpful. Wish I could remember the name of the lovely young lady at the check-in desk that gave us the hotel tour. Wonderful!
Breakfast wonderful!
Excellent hotel, well-run and beautiful. Even when the hotel was full, the breakfast was served smoothly.
The spa is small but cosy, when there are not many people. The first two nights the hotel had little occupancy, the third when we stayed, it was full.
Location,location, location :)
This flat is in the heart of Ericeira. it is within steps of restaurants, the beach, and the nightlife. Check in check out process was seamless. Parking, and driving is not overly difficult. Just takes a little bit of time.
Fantastic staff, kind and genuine people who didn’t make it feel like a stuffy five star hotel. This was my favorite stay on a two-week trip throughout Europe. Down to earth but still a wonderful place to rest and relax and have some pampering.
Wonderful stay at 70s Hostel! Maria is an amazing (above and beyond!) host and she really works hard to make her guests feel at home. This hostel is a perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and a good base to get to know Ericeira.
The way the place is decorated, the entire staff was very friendly, room was clean and the proximity of the place. I really recommend this hotel if you want to visit or work for a few days Ericeira.
A little gem in the heart of Ericeira! Everything was great; the location, the room and the vibes. Everyone at the hotel is genuinely lovely. Thank you for the great time. 10/10
Excellent and lovely hotel. Staff is amazing!
The hotel is so charming - rooms are clean and a nice location for being in the center of the main area of town.
