If you are looking for a quiet vacation as a couple, family or solo traveler, Cozy Holiday Apartments in Izola are an excellent choice. Our fully equipped kitchen and separate bedroom offer a luxurious stay with all the amenities of home. You will enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere with a spacious terrace, air conditioning, LCD TV with more than 300 programs, free wireless internet and a washing machine. In addition, free parking is available. The apartment is located in the heart of the fishing village of Izola, on the ground floor of the former boathouse. Enjoy the freedom to explore the local area and experience the pulse of the community - all with the comfort and privacy of your own holiday apartment steps from the free beach.
We are active retirees who love to travel and experience different cultures. As our daughters have moved out and started their own families, our house has become too large for us. In order to make better use of our space, we have decided to share it with friendly people from around the world. We are delighted to welcome visitors to our charming fishing village in Slovenia and to all the wonderful places it has to offer.
Izola offers a wealth of opportunities for those looking to have an active leisure time. With eight different beaches, ranging from groomed swimming spots, to wild and natural ones, or those with archaeological significance, stunning views, and even dog-friendly and disabled-friendly beaches, there is something to suit everyone. Of particular note is the largest beach in Slovenian Istria, located between Izola and Koper, which is where the legendary Rex – the largest maritime vessel to sail under the Italian flag – sank in 1944. To top it off, visitors should also savor the local cuisine and wines offered by the restaurants and taverns in Izola, including the unique taste of orange wine.
