There is a restaurant belonging to it, that provides a great breakfast, possible to choose from a lot of options, and they are all worth it. There is a bar called Wakanda at the other end of the marina functioning as a beach as well, with cocktails and all sort of drinks, with a great sea view. The entry to the Laguna pool is free of charge for the resort residents, it's a great addition. The marina staff and of the restaurant as well is super kind and friendly. Highly recommended place to stay.

Nice, serene small town located in a nature park, with several walking trails and interesting sights. Not too many beaches, but there are a couple of acceptably good ones. No nightlife; limited dining and shopping options. Excellent for quiet relaxation.

Strunjan is a quiet small resort with a few places to eat and drink. It can get very busy in the summer. There are good walks nearby.
For those who want a lot of facilities, bars etc it is not a good choice.
Out of season is great for those who want peace and relative quiet.

The nice saltpans with a small museum in the middle, both sides of the bay, have hotels for budget guests or one that required a little higher standards. There are many marked paths to hike around or just plain walk. Strunjan bay is not a village but it lies between Izola and Piran. At the beginning of the bay, there is a bus station and mini market and at the end, there are many restaurants and a beach with some trees and grass to give shadow and a place to rest. In nice weather, you will really enjoy it.

Strunjan is one of my favorit sea shore in any season.
Strunjan is one of my favorit sea shore in any season. Picturesque, green and reach meditteranian vegetation, fish and mushels, local vines and olive oil. Town of Piran and Izola are just a walk far. Plenty of local Inn with good food.

Perfect location to visit Strunjan and the coast. The hotel is located right next to Moon Bay and nice walking paths in Strunjan’s Nature Park or direction Piran, so you can take advantage of the free parking of the hotel and explore by foot.
The place has lots of charm and is close from the nature. I really enjoyed this quiet bubble while the whole area along the coast can be a quite busy touristic area.
The staff was lovely and helpful.
Breakfast offered plenty of choice and was really good.

The location is great – right by the sea, in a peaceful complex with its own small park. The famous salt pans, a beautiful natural site, are very close. The apartments are spread along a hillside with lovely views of the salt pans and Strunjan Bay. Our unit for four people was spacious and comfortable, though a few things could use some maintenance. Overall, a pleasant stay in a wonderful setting.

Well equipped apartment, it had everything we needed. The host gave us fresh fruits from the garden. The house is in the middle of the Strunjan cliffs pathway with wonderful views on the surroundings. Trieste and Miramar castle is half hour by car, Piran is 10 minutes.
