We also have small farm here, two kind horses, three loving cats, peacock and a lots of chiken. :D We also offer you daily fresh eggs and vegetables from our garden if you want to (summer offer). Our apartment is nestled in the charming mountain village of Ratece just 5 minutes drive from Kranjska Gora, Slovenia’s best know mountain resort. It’s rare that such a peaceful quaint village has so much to offer but Rateče is no ordinary village, sitting at the crossroads of three distinct cultures. The village itself has a very rich history being the origin of some of the oldest Slovene manuscripts. See the copies of the famous Rateče manuscripts in the Church of St. Thomas in Rateče, one of the four oldest records of the Slovene language. In our town (Rateče) you have a lot of possibilityes for eating good, depends of your taste - local cuisine, fancy cuisine, pizzas and fast food. You also find a lot of opportunities for sports. Not only during the winter (skiing), but also in summer (hiking, cycling, rollerblading and walking). Come here and enjoy our fresh breath from the mountains, even in the summer.
