In 1978, Lynn's started as a simple canteen, which has since grown into a grocery store serving guests at Lynn's Getaway Hotel. Our accommodations are thoughtfully designed for quiet professionals seeking comfort, essential amenities, and quality, all at an affordable rate—without the 5-star price tag. Conveniently located just 2 minutes from the National Hospital Motootua, Lynn’s is here to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Property info

Lynn's Getaway Hotel has a rich history, dating back to 1820, just a year after the devastating Apia cyclone of 1889. It was constructed using salvaged materials from the USS Vandalia. Serving as the Masonic Lodge until the 1980s, it witnessed a transformation when Thor and Lynn Netzler acquired it, utilizing it as both a storage facility and a residence for their burgeoning supermarket located adjacent to the property. Remarkably, to this day, the second floor proudly retains the original deck of the USS Vandalia.
