Mossel Bay is a beautiful city, not overcrowded, it makes a perfect vacation to relax and recharge. The only challenge is public transport, Uber & Bolt are almost non-existent, it's mostly private taxis that you have to call and they are always busy, making the waiting time a bit longer. I would recommend you come with your own car or you hire one, you'll enjoy the place even more without transport inconveniences.
Overall, it's a beautiful place with more than enough to offer visitors.

Charming with some lovely boutique shops.
Charming with some lovely boutique shops. At the far end a great hiking opportunity around st Blaize point followed by a refreshing dip in the sea gully. Unfortunately couldn’t do the zip line as it was too windy. Nor the shark diving for the same reason.
Great padel court on the sea front.
Great bagels at jacks on the Main Street
Dinner at gannet was good.
Amazing bbq in the harbour and very reasonable.
Try the oyster shots next door.
Don’t visit the aquarium!

Visiting the ATKV near by in Hartenbos has great facilities for both adults and children. A visit to the Langeberg Mall is a must to shopping and dining.
A visit to Diaz Beach with its long stretch of white sand and a visit to the Zipline which is the biggest over the ocean in the whole world at the Point is a must

its a lovely bay, specially Santos beach, 2/3 top class restaurants in mossal bay, nice shopping mall as well/
.
2 restaurants we used were kingfisher and café gannet which was exceptional in everything.
We stayed in the apartment 200m from the main Guest House - it was a great space, with fabulous views overlooking Santos Beach. The room itself had air con, fan, v comfy bed and a garage to park our car.
The breakfast was served in the main guest house - which was plentiful of yoghurt, fruit, cooked breakfast, pastries and cereals.
A short walk down the hill you could be on the beach or a short drive down into Mossel Bay town.
The shuttle service offered was a great touch for ease too (thanks to Paul!)
Loved the location, the stylish furnishings, the little extras like books and games. Centrally situated between Mossel Bay and Hartenbos. The gym nearby was fully equipped and simply awesome. There are lots for kids to do. We loved braaing outside. The kitchen was fully equipped and spotless. We enjoyed the hotels menu next door, reasonably priced. We had long beach walks and full access to all amenities.. All in all, great value for money can recommend the place. Simply excellent. Will book again.
Sad I only booked 1 night as I was only passing through Mossel Bay with my family but I will definitely be booking again. Marita was so accommodating as we checked in quite later than what we confirmed. We were suprised with a gorgeous view from the apartment sparkly clean rooms smelling fresh and a sweet treat next to soft rolled up towels on every bed. Before checking out we took the kids for a walk on the beach and took in all the beauty Mossel Bay had to offer. Thank you for having us😁
The location on the beach is gorgeous; it takes only a few minutes to get to the road that connects Hartenbos and Mossel Bay. The location, however, is a solid drive to central Hartenbos, which was perfect for us, but may not be if you want to be in the thick of things. The staff members are friendly and efficient. We stayed in a Luxury room, which is on the small side and only has a regulation sized shower, not a bath; if you stay for longer rather upgrade to the next level.
It´s a family hotel and it is absoutely amazing what those guys are doing there
They are all so warm and friendly it fells like you always knew them. They call you by your name from the very start and everything is flawless. From the food to the ammenities.
Then there are the safaris, lot of wildlife to see. We saw some stuff (no spoillers here) we did not see even in Krugger
The rangers are awesome too.
Could not recomend more.
Wonderfully located right in front of the beach. You just need to go down the stairs and you can have a nice swim in the Indian ocean. You can have your breakfast on the terrace watching the waves. The staff was very friendly and supportive. It helped us even when our car broke down. we felt very safe in the area and also on the beach. It was not crowded and very relaxing for us.
Andrea is very welcoming and provides recommendations on things to do in the area. The room is not self catering, you are however provided with essentials should you bring home food (takeaways) and want to warm it, the room has a coffee station, bar fridge and microwave with crockery and cutlery. Stunning place, will highly recommend, wish we stayed longer.
Lovely clean modern apartment, fabulous view, comfortable beds, adequate shower, centrally situated, conveniently restaurants & supermarket in the same centre. Great instructions to access the place. All in all very nice stay would love to return to Mossel Bay.
Location is excellent, looking out over the bay (ask for a harbour view room). On-site bar, swimming pool and restaurant, all excellent, as was the service from hotel staff. Secure parking is available. Mossel Bay itself is a very pleasant town.
The place is on the beach, and we had lots of fun, the staff is always there when you need anything. Luke ,Tracy and other staff of the hotel were very helpful, Big up with your good service 🙏🙏❤️
This property had an amazing view of the Mossel Bay. Very comfortable beds and great breakfast. The host and the lovely ladies who prepared our breakfast were very welcoming. Highly recommended.
Lewis was very helpful and the hotel was very accomadating. We really liked the therapy services. Rooms were all lovely and great location for exploring Mossel Bay!!
The breakfast was very good and the location in Mossel Bay was within walking distance of the town centre and The Point area. The \guest House was great.
