We enjoyed the stay so much! It was Sunday evening we arrived, and everything was prepared so well for us including how we can arrange the rest of the trip. A best experience we have ever had.

George is a charming city with a small town feel. Surrounded by the beauty of the Outeniqua mountains, George offers great outdoor activities as well as having the needed town conveniences. I always find it a restful place to visit and stay.
I love the local Panarottis outlet for delicious pizza to the choice and variety of the SuperSpar located in Heatherlands. George is easy to get around with a car. For bigger shopping trips, the Garden Route Mall is great.

The property and accommodation was perfect.
The property and accommodation was perfect. It was just as what was advertised. The breakfast was well presented and good. The staff was very friendly and polite. If there was a negative it would be the toilet seat that needs replacing and also to ensure that all toiletry containers are full before guests arrive. Also there was no hand soap for the hand basin. Other than that we had a good stay.

George is a beautiful place with gorgeous picturesque areas but unfortunately I couldn't visit as I I was only passing through only stayed for one night. The location of this hotel is conveniently across the mall where you can go shopping have lunch or dinner. The lady at the reception also told us of other best restaurants we can visit in town and we found the best for our dinner their food was amazing 👏

Pathetic service, an absolute lie (4-star).
Pathetic service, an absolute lie (4-star). Will never ever visit this hotel again, and will make sure to advise others accordingly. In fact, will address this on 'Hello Peter' website to inform the rest of the world!!! Will also review on Booking.com
Shower leaking into the passage and bedroom. Basin running very slowly. Towels more than 10 years old, tattered at the ends and very thin. Toiletries not replenished at all. Uncountable amount of dirty stains on the carpet floor throughout the room, absolutely disgusting. TV loses signal all the time. WiFi signal is very poor. Kettle physically broken. What a disaster... definitely not a 4-star hotel, should be investigated for false advertising.
Manager not really perturbed by the complaints and doesn't really appear to be concerned by the ridiculous condition of the room, because the hotel is apparently "fully booked".
I've been to the Garden Route more that 15 years in a row and by far my worst experience!!

George is a city that MUST be visited by all South Africans.
George is a city that MUST be visited by all South Africans. George, along with Knysna and Plettenberg Bay are the most beautiful destinations in our country. The beaches are amazing (Heralds Bay and Victoria Bay) and the people are friendly. This really is the place to go to get away from the busyness of Joburg and get some decent rest.
I booked this accomodation for my elderly parents who needed to stop over in George on their journey back to Grahamstown. They really liked Eike cottage and will be using it again
My guest felt like they were on holiday instead of being in George for work!
Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. They loved the fire burning at breakfast.
