In desperate need to make our wedding anniversary special and wanting to visit the west Coast of South Africa agin after many years, I decided to book a couple of nice at this very good Boutique hotel. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I made in a while. This place was very well placed and the restaurant and rooms very stylishly decorated.
We were also greeted with some MCC and flowers in the room because I mentioned that it was a special occasion. The food was absolutely amazing! Breakfast was very well served with lots of fresh options and another bottle of MCC on our first mornings' breakfast. For dinner I had hake the first evening and the seafood linguini the last evening.....both extremely tasty and can recommend to all. My wige had the Chalmar steak and she could not stop smiling.
The staff was probably the best part of the stay. They were all very friendly and attentive to our needs, from managers to bartender to waitresses. Well done Strandloper.
We will be back.

Location was great - was there for work, visiting factories in St Helena Bay...good food at the restaurant, and nice wifi to do work in the bar after eating.

Location was amazing, on a quieter part of the beachfront strip. We had the upstairs room with the private verandah. Windows looked out to wonderful views and perfect for catching the sun when you don’t want to be on the sand. Breakfast was amazing. We love starting out the day with a proper meal in our bellies and they also leave delicious rusks with your afternoon tea when they do their daily cleaning. The staff as so lovely as was the host Ansu. Highly recommend if you are looking for something that isn’t a self catering option.
Set on South Africa’s wild West Coast, in the authentic fishing village of Paternoster, these exquisite cottages are located right on the beach.

We LOVE Paternoster.
We LOVE Paternoster. It’s a beautiful little coastal village (probably more of a town now) with white houses. The beach is lovely with soft sand and great for long walks.
There are many fantastic restaurants and cafes to choose from and local seafood is excellent.
Plentiful accommodation at reasonable prices.
Definitely worth a trip and also please visit the wine lounge. Fantastic selection of South African wines run by a lovely couple Arno and Pieter. You can sip and watch the waves and world go by or catch a sunset.

It is essentially a holiday village, spread along the beach.
It is essentially a holiday village, spread along the beach. There are quite a few restaurants, a supermarket, and a few small shops, but that's it. The beach is excellent for walking, but a bit too cold for swimming. There are
some game reserves and a national Park within an hour's drive and they are worth visiting. Really, it is a place for relaxing

We really enjoyed the beach and especially the sunsets.
We really enjoyed the beach and especially the sunsets. The local Spar had everything you would need to purchase - fresh meat, vegetables and a lovely bakery. The Beer Brewery is a must visit and make sure you try their cheese platters, the best we had.
This hotel is a wonderful little luxury gem just a short walk away from the ocean. The staff were attentive and warm from the time we walked into the reception. We had dinner at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Breakfast was included and was just as delicious. The rooms were super spacious and great quality. The sun shines through into the restaurant so beautifully in the morning. Worth a mention :D I posted a video of it on our social media channel @darrinandmbali on TikTok
Beautiful little gem in Paternoster, greeted with a warm welcome and a wonderfully spacious room. Excellent location, a few minutes passed the main beach allows you a much more private, quiet beach, to enjoy amazing sea views or walk along at sunset. You won’t go hungry here, with afternoon tea and cakes, a huge wide ranging breakfast and tea making facilities in the room.
One of the most beautiful cottages I have ever stayed in. The unit was kitted out perfectly with luxury furnishings and amenities. The hosts were always available for queries or concerns. The view was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I specifically enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the sunrises and sunsets. We were completely smitten with the place and did not want to leave.
We loved our stay at Skip Skop. Paternoster is such a beautiful town. Beds were clean and comfortable, kitchen was was well stocked with all the necessities. Also it was a bonus the fridge made ice and there was a dishwasher. All our guests had a good time. We never felt unsafe, but were still vigilant of our belongings at the property when coming and going.
Superb accomodation with a walkway straight onto the beach. Bedding good, lay-out excellant and everything you need or want. Kitchen utensils and crockery in good condition and of good quality. Lounge, braai and dining area comfortable. I would recommend without hesitation and will definately stay there again if I visit Paternoster.
Beautiful location in Paternoster. Safe and secure. Magnificent view of the beach and ocean from our room. Breakfast was made to order with all the usual sides and delicious breakfast goodies. The room we occupied was at one time occupied by the President of South Africa (Nelson Mandela)... It was top notch!!
Paternoster Coves is quaint and well appointed with good attention to detail. The views from the chill area (Patat) were awesome and it provided a nice area to braai and relax. Krefie was very pretty and even has a bath, not to mention a very comfortable four-poster bed.
We had a lovely stay at Mosselbank 3 and it was a bonus that it was pet friendly. Glenn assisted us with the key handover and showed us around. He also recommended some local spots that came in handy. It's a neat and lovely apartment that is safe and quiet at night.
Fabulous beachfront location, a well laid out and well appointed property with stunning views of Paternoster Bay.
A few minutes walk to Cathy's for a gorgeous breakfast and a few minutes walk to one of the best restaurants in the area, Leeto, just wonderful food.
Location was on the beach with immediate access from our veranda. Stunning uninterrupted views. Loved the decor and facilities in the room and throughout the hotel. Delicious food and exceptional service. World class!
Beautiful beachfront guesthouse/hotel with the feel of staying at someone’s home but with all the amenities and privacy of a hotel. Attractive decor and friendly staff
Close to the beach, and a short drive to all the restaurants and activities in Paternoster. Although we didn't cook in the unit it is wonderfully equipped throughout.
