Great location in the sand dunes by Hout Bay, large secure parking area with a remote for the electric gates. The views over the bay are superb. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The room was great for us, plenty of space with a fridge and lots of storage space, and an outside shared balcony. Very close to the Friday night market in Hout Bay. There was a handy second kitchen next to our room meaning we didn't need to use the main kitchen at all. Good big bathroom as well.

Staff is friendly, everything was clean and well equipped. There’s a very nice view over the bay and a nice covered terrace. The parking was secure. The dormitory was well organised, with a small but good bathroom (the shower was perfect, with hot water) It’s a very quiet place and that’s nice, host and guests were very polite and respectful And the hostel is very close to the beach and the harbour

Brilliant location, right across the road from the beach (We also highly recommend the Fish & Chips at Mariner's Wharf). The room was comfortable and clean and staff friendly. They assisted us in converting the bunkbed to two singles. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The mini-fridge in the room was very useful, and there were loads of closet space. The small shared kitchen on the lower floor was well-equipped for this type of establishment (there is another, larger kitchen on the upper floor, but we did not use it).

Location excellent, fantastic view, walking access to all Hout Bay. Shared kitchen facilities excellent, with cooker, large fridge/s. Secure parking. Helpful, friendly and caring staff. The private room is spacious with plenty of storage and a king and single bed, and a good size bar fridge.
