Fabulous hosts welcomed us into their family for a few days. The room was lovely and enchanting and I couldn’t have wished for anything different.
Their conservation and rewilding activities are excellent and to be supported, and for me set this above the competition.
Game drives gave intimate glimpses into the private lives of giraffe, lion and white rhino.

This was one of the most comfortable rooms and excellent bathrooms in our whole trip through South Africa. It’s a bright, clean, airy room with a great balcony view across the bay. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the facilities such as the restaurant for breakfast and the pool were all clean and good quality. Car parking was easy and the staff helped with that and luggage without being asked. It’s located next to the Mossel Bay pier so it’s an easy walk down the hill to a few seafood restaurants with good views of the sunset across the bay.

Mossel Bay is a beautiful city, not overcrowded, it makes a perfect vacation to relax and recharge. The only challenge is public transport, Uber & Bolt are almost non-existent, it's mostly private taxis that you have to call and they are always busy, making the waiting time a bit longer. I would recommend you come with your own car or you hire one, you'll enjoy the place even more without transport inconveniences.
Overall, it's a beautiful place with more than enough to offer visitors.

Charming with some lovely boutique shops.
Charming with some lovely boutique shops. At the far end a great hiking opportunity around st Blaize point followed by a refreshing dip in the sea gully. Unfortunately couldn’t do the zip line as it was too windy. Nor the shark diving for the same reason.
Great padel court on the sea front.
Great bagels at jacks on the Main Street
Dinner at gannet was good.
Amazing bbq in the harbour and very reasonable.
Try the oyster shots next door.
Don’t visit the aquarium!

Visiting the ATKV near by in Hartenbos has great facilities for both adults and children. A visit to the Langeberg Mall is a must to shopping and dining.
A visit to Diaz Beach with its long stretch of white sand and a visit to the Zipline which is the biggest over the ocean in the whole world at the Point is a must

2 restaurants we used were kingfisher and café gannet which was exceptional in everything.
We loved this guesthouse in Mossel Bay. Very high class. The location is excellent on a hill overlooking the bay, rooms big, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. Bathroom big with an excellent shower. Breakfast was excellent with choices of freshly prepared hot/cold dishes in a beautiful dining room with a balcony with great views. The owner (Lizette) is a lovely and kind person, and we highly enjoyed her hospitality.
This was the 2nd time here and thoroughly enjoyed the self catering apartment and especially the location. I went with my whole family and inlaws and staff accommodated to have all four apartments next to each other. On the 3rd day, I also enjoyed some pampering at the beauty salon at the hotel. Kids loved the waterpark which is in walking distance. Would definately come again December.
Wonderfully located right in front of the beach. You just need to go down the stairs and you can have a nice swim in the Indian ocean. You can have your breakfast on the terrace watching the waves. The staff was very friendly and supportive. It helped us even when our car broke down. we felt very safe in the area and also on the beach. It was not crowded and very relaxing for us.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay here. Charming property, impeccable cleanliness, very comfortable bed, thoughtful extras, and the warm welcome makes this THE place to stay in Mossel Bay. Marilyn’s warm hospitality and super delicious dinner and breakfast made our stay such a pleasure.
Highly recommended!
The hotel was accommodating with dropping off and picking up me, my father, and my TT bike during the IRONMAN 70.3 over the weekend.
The hotel also prepared a breakfast pack consisting of an apple, banana, peanut butter oats, a muffin, and other snacks to have on the morning of the race.
I can only call this fantastic accommodation. Truly well appointed and the view is to die for!!!! It had everything one can possibly need and more. Centrally located, right at the beach and a hotel almost next door. What more can you need? We appreciated the inverter as well - thanks.
Loved staying at Santos Beach Pavillion! The place is fully equipped with all the amenities you can need, and the hosts are extremely accommodating. Being on the beach and sleeping to the sound of crashing waves is priceless! Highly recommended and will definitely be back.
The experience of staying on the train was cool and you are literally on the beach. The views are amazing.
We stayed in the Royal room. The bed was so comfortable, it was one of the best nights sleep we've ever had.
The staff were welcoming and friendly.
Fabulous family run hotel in a good location for exploring Mossel Bay. Loved all the decor and the breakfast choice was great. Everyone so friendly and helpful - thoroughly recommended!
