I had such a wonderful time at both dinner and breakfast! The dinner was absolutely delicious, with the dish bursting with fresh, flavorful ingredients. It was such a treat to enjoy a meal that was not only tasty but also beautifully presented. Breakfast was just as amazing. The host was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home, and the staff were just lovely, always smiling and ready to help. Overall, it was a delightful experience that I won’t forget

Having moved from the Radisson Hotel to Kelway and paid the same per night charge, the differences are huge. Rooms are small. Bathrooms small, shower pressure is low, water temp is not very high. Breakfast had a good buffet selection. Location was also reason for selecting, as it had a sea view from the downstairs guest deck and walking distance to some good restaurants. Their Lift needs serious attention. We got stuck in it. The floor buttons need to be pressed down and kept down but that does not always work. We had to have staff shout instructions from outside. Had to return to reception to have room key activated which did not work and a staff member arrived with a portable key activator. Bar was quiet and reasonably priced.

This was my 1st stay in South Africa and the location, very close to PE airport and it takes only 3 minutes drive to hotel from airport rental. It was in quite silence with neighborhoods, getting up with birds singing in the early morning and nothing else. It has a private parking and very safe. There is a few more options for breakfast on the menu and i had one dinner too. The foods are more than my expectations. The hotel staff was very nice and always checks with me breakfast in the prior evening.

    I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lloyd Road Cottage in Gqeberha during a challenging time, as I was had to undergo from surgery at Life St George’s Hospital, which is located within a very comfortable distance from Lloyd Road Cottage. From the moment I arrived, Carol and her husband went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. The cottage itself is a gem! Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The peaceful, well-maintained garden is a lovely retreat, and their adorable cat, Sneakers, adds a charming, homely touch. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the care and kindness shown by Carol and her husband. They treated me with such warmth and professionalism, making sure I had everything I needed. Carol even left me some delicious soup the night I was discharged from the hospital - a small gesture that meant the world to me in my recovery. The property is located in a safe, quiet area and offers excellent amenities like free WiFi, private parking, and a well-equipped kitchenette. The comfort of a private entrance, a pool, and easy access to outdoor seating in the beautiful garden added to the relaxing experience. I can’t recommend Lloyd Road Cottage enough for anyone needing a home away from home, whether for leisure, business or even a hospital visit like myself. Carol and her husband are exceptional hosts, and I’m so grateful for their hospitality during my stay.
