Company info

We are a long-established family trust with myself and my wife being the trustees. I am Henk Graaff, a South African by birth, husband to Carole (French origin) and father to Mathieu and Marine who are both living with us at present. Henk works in the tourism industry (Incoming Tour Operator for Southern Africa) and we all enjoy meeting people from all nationalities, and we love sharing the beauty of our part of the world with them. Our family's favorite holiday destination is the African bush and we enjoy a good traditional "braai" (barbeque) with good South African wine. We have lived on this property for twenty-three years and we know the immediate area very well. You can expect to be treated professionally yet received warmly and in a personalized way, whilst respecting your privacy at all times.

Spacious, secure, and charming one-bed-roomed thatch cottages on a smallholding in a central location in Midrand. . All cottages are fully furnished, self-contained and have their own private entrances. Our cottages all have hand-picked and unique decor and we take pride in each of them as we have a hands-on approach, live on-site, and welcome and host each of our guests personally.

Neighborhood info

The brand new 'Mall of Africa' is 5 minutes from our place, and so is the Ultimate Heliport,Gallagher Estate, Grand Central airport and the Midrand Gautrain Station. Within walking distance of us are the Pearson (Midrand) Graduate Institute campus, as well as the famous Nizamye Mosque ( Turkish inspired and biggest in Southern hemisphere ). Our location is therefore very central and it is hard to believe that you are so close to Johannesburg, Pretoria and all high-ways and by-ways, airports, bus stops and train station, yet in a quiet and tranquil and safe, country atmosphere. Important to understand that we are on the SAME (Eastern) SIDE OF THE N1 HIGHWAY (There is heavy traffic from the western side, especially during peak times ) and therefore there is no traffic problems.
