Situated in the car-free Wengen in the Jungfrau Region, Hotel Berghaus enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Bernese Alps. I can’t wait to go back here! The property is located close enough to Wengen train station & town, & 3-4 minutes from the cable car, yet far enough to get some peace & quiet. Each room has a balcony with a lovely view. It was spotless & cleaned each day with fresh towels replaced. The host, Martina is wonderful. She was warm & welcoming, and gave me lots of great tips for hiking & sightseeing. Their continental breakfast was excellent! Soft, freshly baked bread and croissants each morning from the local bakery with fresh cut up fruits & plenty of options for vegans & vegetarians for a healthy & hearty breakfast, served with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. 10/10 recommended.

The room was very nice and spotlessly clean, with an amazing mountain view. The location is convenient, close to the train station. I didn’t get the chance to try the restaurant downstairs but it looks very popular, I would definitely recommend this place and plan to book again on my next trip to Switzerland.

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn. Rooms better than expected. Recently remodeled. Awesome view. Excellent location. Kind staff. Next time I come back to Switzerland, I would rather return there instead of staying somewhere else.

The Alpenblick hotel is a family business, situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food. Location, friendly and flexible staff!

Directly on the shore of Lake Brienz, Boutique Hotel Bellevue Iseltwald offers a sun terrace. A fabulous place with a wonderful view. The room is very cozy. Convenient parking, responsive staff.
