Newcastle
Located in Newcastle, a few steps from Newcastle Beach, Harbour House Inn Newcastle, Northern Ireland provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Providing a bar, the property is located within 22 km of Down Cathedral. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and luggage storage space. Our room faced the ocean and had a small balcony with windows that opened fully so we could listen to the ocean all night. The room was a bit pricey with conversion fees, but such is life. It was a last minute booking for us and for how comfortable and clean everything was, it was worth the price. Plus there's a cafe downstairs with the best complimentary breakfast downstairs and the restaurant/bar below is also very cozy and decent food for dinner. It is on the edge of town so it takes about 15 minutes of walking to get to other restaurants and bars more downtown, but the walk is all along the ocean, so no complaints! The staff was super friendly and helpful. we loved this stay and would highly recommend and definitely book again!

Lots of space. Quirky and rustic. Bed lovely and comfortable. Great bath. Lots of nice touches...flowers chocolates scones on arrival. Tea coffee milk and butter in the fridge.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff was very helpful and had always time to chat. Food was very good both breakfast and dinner.
The beds were very comfortable and the en suite was spotless. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, and breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious.
Everything was perfect and enjoyed the stay would recommend the Rostrevor Inn and the Rostrevor distillery experience was very enjoyable.
The property is so clean, comfortable and had everything you need. Our dog loved the garden and was so welcome. The view over to Scotland in the morning is stunning. Nick and Coirle are so friendly. They made us feel so welcome. We walked into town with our dog and had a lovely time. They also recommended a take away for dinner and it was delicious. Thank you guys for a great stay
Staff exceedingly friendly. Central location convenient: Can walk right up into the mountains from the Inn as well as walk to other bars and restaurants. A real part of the community serving local whisky and gin. Cocktails made with fresh ingredients.
Wonderful, spacious, light filled room in an historic inn. Dinner at the bistro was really good, followed by an array of local musicians performing in the inn's small bar. Live music happens three times per week. Fun evening!
Everything about Pier 36 is brilliant. The food is amazing, we had dinner and breakfast and couldn't fault any of it. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was any trouble for them. We were given a complementary room upgrade and the room was absolutely beautiful, it was huge with the comfiest bed I have ever slept in in a guest house or hotel. And the view from the bedroom was amazing! The room was much nicer than some of the much more expensive hotels and for a fraction of the price. We would definitely return!
The staff were very friendly. The supper in the pub was excellent and the breakfast was too. The rooms were clean, the beds comfy and for such an old historic inn it was really well kept. Just up the hill within easy walking distance is the Down Museum (free) which is set up in the buildings of the old County Down Gaol. We’ll presented,
