The Village Pub

Cirencester

Boasting a bar, The Village Pub is situated in Cirencester in the Gloucestershire region, 13 km from Cotswold Water Park. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The inn has newspapers and a fax machine and photocopier that guests can use. The Village pub is located in the village of Barnsley in southern Cotswolds - it is a beautiful building and part of the Barnsley House hotel and Spa complex - the village is quiet, few turist's but lovely to walk around with a nice old church and typical Cotswold stone cottages. The Pub itself is great with a secluded siting area outside. Our room "Bluebell" was stunning and full of everything you need with both bath and an amazing shower. Staff were friendly and always smiling. Food is very good but not quite on a par with the Barnsley house menu - guests should try both places. Barnsley house is just 5 minutes walk away and has fantastic gardens. We will be returning to the Village pub in the near future.

The Eagle Tavern

Oxford is 32 km from The Eagle Tavern, while Swindon is 19 km away. The nearest airport is Gloucestershire Airport, 69 km from the accommodation. The absolute best breakfast we've ever had provided with a hotel stay. The town of Little Coxwell is adorable and infinitely cuter than the larger Faringdon, but it's right down the road if you need it. The restaurant is amazing and we ate two meals there - not something we planned to do, but the food was so incredible we couldn't resist!!
