Offering free Wi-Fi, and a guest lounge with a fireplace, Drifters Inn just 80 metres from the famous Hanmer Springs Thermal Reserve. It offers rooms with flat-screen satellite TV. Drifters Inn had everything you needed while away right across from the pools walking distance from shops restaurants etc. Could not ask for more we will diffidently be back to stay here again, car was parked up for the whole three days.

Porters Lodge is a family friendly oasis in the hills of the Craigieburn Valley, positioned just off the well beaten track of State Highway 73 but easily within reach of Christchurch. Beautiful location with all we needed. Staff were amazing,chatty and helpful. The place was clean and cozy in most areas. Overall very happy with our stay. Cost of the room was very affordable.

Gladstone Hotel is set in Fairlie, 30 km from Lake Tekapo and 47 km from Timaru. There is an on-site restaurant. You will find a shared lounge at the property. Place with character. It was spotless and nicely quiet there. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food in the pub downstairs. Owerall, it has hugely exceeded my expectations. Great place to stop by for sure

Located in the heart of Methven, The Blue Pub features an onsite bar and restaurant with regular live music. Guests enjoy free WiFi and free parking. The staff were excellent even giving us a lift to Opuke Spa and picking us up afterwards. Food in the pub was very good.
