This is heaven for pet lovers!! This place is filled with cute and very very sweet cats 🥹 Everything is clean especially the room! The owner, Prashanth and his wife are very kind people, the staff are warm and nice. I love supporting people who do good things for their community - especially the ones who need it the most. In Sri lanka, not everyone cares for the cats and dogs which is very sad. But Prashanth does his best to help and give them hope 🥹 Truly a one of a kind man, so if you are looking for a place in Trinco, consider this homestay — it would add a meaningful purpose to your journey. I loved every bit of my stay in Trincomalee and this homestay really made it very special. 🤍

This is an absolutely beautiful apartment, huge and finished to a very high standard. The living spaces are large and well furnished. We didn't cook but the kitchen is really well equipped with everything you'd need and there's every a washing machine which we did use a few times during our 6 night stay. We loved the large balcony which overlooks the beach. The pool is clean and large enough for a good swim and the grounds were lovely. We only used the jacuzzi once which was on the room but was nice to have a drink at night, overlooking the sea. Plenty of places along the quiet beach for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Great for a relaxing stay.

Facility is in the first floor that's owned by a Tamil family ... guest house had the basic amenities with the exception of cloth hangar. Guest house owner is well-versed in English that comes from his rich experience working with various UN agencies. Location is close to the main road but still quite silent ... the nearest bus stop is walkable to take buses from/to the main town and to the nearby locations, like, the Marble beach. In fact, one can take the small gullies to go to the railway station though it can get bit difficult during rainy days and in the evenings.
