Featuring a fully equipped common kitchen, Spondylus Lodge offers a garden and BBQ facilities in Ayampe. Spondylus lodge was one of my best accommodations in South America so far! I had a private room; good price, very spacey with own balcony. Comfortable bed and good AC! Free coffee in the morning and filtered water. 5 min walk to the beach. Big common areas and a good common kitchen. The place was very very clean. Staff was nice and helpful! Very quite and tranquil. would def recommend!

The seperior customer service agent Tatiana and Manager Alexander provided us with above and beyond fantastic professional service when we were stressed out about getting our rooms expecially when my husband was sick. They really deserve to be mentioned and applauded! They were very very kind and gave us the nicest room in the hotel. It was just gorgious. We were so very pleased! The Jr. Suite was immaculate giving you every thing you need. Many bottles of water, the bed was wonderful. The view...was amazing. Great air conditioner. Gorgious modern room. The bell man was so helpful also. And I asked to show me how to turn on the english on the tv and they sent some one up immediately. The pool was wonderfull and we enjoyed immensely the live music which we imbraised as my spirit danced around the pool. Such ambiance. The breakfast was very good also. I also liked my Sons Bunglow room. Immaculate and fresh! So quite with a pool steps across from their room. The secret door to the beach was a find and ez passage to the beach. Loved it! And the showers for your feet was just a happy site when we came back through the secret door from the beach.The location is is the best in all of Manta...Seriously!!! The shopping mall is right across the street. Coffee is right their.Also out side their is a bakery that you have to try...Delicious.. ( Oh by the way the coffee for breakfast is delicious! Taxies are so ez to get...waiting right out side for you. I cant express enough how happy were were staying here! \
