Well located, lovely, welcoming hotel - clean, comfortable with great amenities and bonus ‘kick-back’ food in the evening & tasty breakfast in the morning. Also loved being able to do some laundry & use the fitness centre but by far the greatest assets of this place is their wonderful staff! Elizabeth & the Team were so kind, friendly & helpful & a very special thanks goes out to the delightful Jessica who was all those things and much more! She simply couldn’t do enough to help us, making sure we had all we needed & on learning that we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary & my special birthday, Jessica even went to the trouble of giving us a hand-written card, some chocs, a local postcard & hotel pen. We were so touched & grateful at how this fantastic young woman went above & beyond to make us feel so special & welcome & we send our grateful thanks & wishes for her future health, happiness & success!

Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool and a hot tub, Comfort Suites Carlsbad is 10 minutes’ walk from New Mexico State University-Carlsbad. WiFi is provided. A free hot breakfast is served each morning. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained (rooms as well as public areas, f.ex. laundry room). All employees are exceptionally friendly. The two charming ladies at the reception (morning-shift) made my stay special with sightseeing-/restaurant-tips and pleasant conversation.
