The staff are super helpful and very friendly. Accommodating people. I complain about toilet blockages and immediately sorted out!. The property is in middle of city. You can find anything near by. I highly recommended this hotel to my friends and family.

Negotiate the price of everything you want to purchase in...

Negotiate the price of everything you want to purchase in the markets. A good rule of thumb (As per a tour guide) is to cut by 50% any price given and start from there. It was lots of fun going back and forth on prices.

Definitely worth a visit my suggestion would be take a metro...

Definitely worth a visit my suggestion would be take a metro to Al Ras Station this means catching a train on the Red line towards Centrepoint however you must change at Burjuman this interchange station between Red and Green lines Al Ras Station in on the Green line but only a couple of stops and then a short walk.

Hard hearted selfish uneducated uncultured poorly mannered money grabbing sales people in this whole city everywhere you go and gets at its worst in the Gold souk as it’s too many shops selling the same things. I’m guessing the sales and advisers are under immense pressure by their bosses to sell and meet targets without any customer service. There is no such thing as customer service experience in Dubai anywhere in retail sector just an aggressive money grabbing city in terms of shopping experience, one of the worst places in the world for customer service scores which should be a fat 0/10 or minus if possible. Dubai isn’t what it used to be. It’s full of underpaid suffering employees / workers on heavy pressure to grab customers money. The staff think their job is to hard sell and make a customer feel bad for walking in there. Far too aggressive and pushy overpriced rip off place not worth a look let alone a buy! You have to haggle hard but even then you will be ripped off and highly likely to have the worst shopping experience of your life!!

Very interesting shops in the Gold Souk. Bargain and you will get a lower price to suit your wallet (within reason). Jewellers always make a profit even though they say they don't make any if they settle at your price
