Hotel Goldgasse is perfectly located in the heart of the old town, in a narrow yet peaceful street. The hotel is small with just 16 rooms, ours was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is an absolute highlight with a great selection of savoury and sweet items laid out attractively on a tiered cake stand, with fresh orange juice and a selection of lovely fresh bread and rolls. Our waitress was so welcoming and friendly and remembered our breakfast drinks preferences each day.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, just one block away from the bus and train stations. Additionally, there is a BILLA grocery store and a pharmacy nearby. The city's major attractions are mostly within walking distance; if something is a bit farther away and requires crossing the river, taking a train is also very convenient. The room we booked happened to be one designed for guests with special needs, which was very spacious and equipped with numerous facilities tailored for accessibility. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, complete with a high-quality mattress. Inside the room, everything necessary was provided, including a kettle and some cups. Moreover, special touches were added for guests, such as chocolates featuring the logo of a local souvenir shop. The neighborhood around the hotel was very quiet, ensuring that there were no disturbances to our sleep quality. Overall, it was a very good stay. One more thing, I like the aroma in the room, not too strong but make people calm.

I loved everything thing about this hotel, its the first reason why I fell in love with Salzburg, the hotel owner and her husband are lovely people always smiling and willing to help, I ran with an issue and it got solved with in short minutes, the location is AWESOME waking up to see the mountains around you is something amazing , now lets talk about food , I raise my hat to the amazing chef at the hotel his food is really tasty and we asked for something out of the menu and he delivered it perfectly never missed a breakfast at this hotel .The rooms are so comy and cozy all wooden and guess what they got wireless charging stands LOVED IT . Furthermore Thank to the girl who works at the evening shift she helped us alot as a guide thank you so much sadly I didn't catch her name One last thing this hotel is worth booking , don't mind how far its there is a bus stop close it and at night it becomes so quiet and peaceful

The property and views are stunning. Our room was so cute and the pictures do not do it justice! Large room with beautiful windows that open, lovely restaurant and the grounds are wonderful for taking walks. Just below the property (about a 12 minute walk down the hill) is a little restaurant that had delicious soup and yummy coffee and croissants. A field next to it was filled with sheep and horses and a friendly cat. Breakfast was out of this world…The whole trip was magical for my daughter and I!
