The breakfast menu was innovative but interesting and healthy. The seating arrangements were fine too. I liked the fact there was a choice of inside and outside and that as a person who is slightly disabled there was no difficulty in your staff finding me a chair with a back rather than a high stool type chair. This is a very small point but can I mention the mushrooms I haven’t checked but I don’t recollect your menu states which type of mushroom will be served? I was a bit surprised therefore to find mixed mushrooms when I had been expecting something more like Portobello anyway this is very much a first world problem your hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in.

A park in the middle of Brisbane.

A park in the middle of Brisbane. Memorial for the Australian and New Zealand soldier losses in the war. Busy and active particularly around April 25 (ANZAC day public holiday). Pretty park in the city open to all.

This amazingly detailed area portrays the history of the World Wars in this Anzac Square and is to be highly recommended for visitors. Staff there assisted me to research my dad’s war service, thank you so much Pauline. I took many photos and appreciated the time given to me, it was very emotional for me. I was there for hours.

Good to visit around the Christmas time, or visit the city hall they have good free exhibits, and at night they play classical music to scare away the "undesirables", but is pretty nice for those of us who like that kind of music.
