the restaurant was absolutely fabulous

Nice staff, very accommodating, nice and quiet, very clean.

Convenient location. Great breakfast.

Ideal location for ski race training

The location just few steps from the ski lift, and most importantly the staff, Joaquim went out of his way to make our stay a pleasant experience. The restaurant offers exquisite cuisine and an excellent rapport on quality and price for the half board. Totally recommended!

The host is the nicest person and very accommodating for mountain bikers that were spontaneously passing by. We even extended for one day because it was so nice. Breakfast was extensive and as customizable as you would want to. And the view over the valley of Sion was truly amazing from our terrace! Nax itself also has a small supermarket (open on Sundays) with a nice bakery, which was a big plus as well. We were even offered and accepted a session in the hot tub.

Everything from the cosy elegant modern gorgeous chalets to the most beautiful view with the most dedicated staff .

Beautiful located and having the restaurant was even better we loved the fondue. The family room was awesome for the kids having their own bed up in the den.

A hidden gem in the mountains! We had an unforgettable stay at this charming B&B in Ayer. It offers a cozy, intimate atmosphere and is impeccably clean—feels like 5-star service. What truly sets this place apart is the warmth and dedication of the hosts, Emily and John. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home, from thoughtful chats to planning personalized day trips around the area. The homemade dinners and breakfasts were a real highlight—packed with local ingredients, generous portions, and full of flavor. It’s rare to find such heart and care poured into every detail. We felt incredibly well looked after, and getting to know Emily and John made the whole experience feel deeply personal and special. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the region. We’ll absolutely be coming back!

Staying in this great family running hotel each time I'm in the business trip in Sierre. Feeling like at home 🏡 always welcome

Convenient location, friendly staff. The restaurant is very good, but very pricey for this standard of motel.

A real GEM hidden in the forest in beautiful Valais region. We went to the Grand Bains d'Hérémence for a relaxing Spa day (10 min drive) and finished the day at John's Lodge and it was absolutely perfect. The staff, the restaurant, the quality of the service, the amazing room was cozy, clean and super comfy. It would be difficult to make it better!

The place was easy to find, and the staff stayed in contact with us throughout our stay, making everything smooth from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated that.

Breakfast, location, staff. We cannot fault the Hotel Cristal.

Great location, charming hotel, delightful, kind, and helpful owner/manager, and the room was superb.

Wonderful simple inn style accommodation. The room was comfortable, the location is perfect, there is free parking and the staff is very kind. The restaurant was excellent as well.

Amazingly friendly staff, good service, easy parking, lovely Chinese food at dinner time

Very cosy hotel. The terrasse is very nice (sunny) and you can see the Matterhorn getting pink in the evening ;-) Nice buffet breakfast, very friendly staff

Incredibly kind staff; diverse breakfast hotel is beautifully restored outdoor seating area is so charming

Stephane was a spectacular host. He prepared fresh bread and breakfast for us and arranged for a nice time in sauna and spa. My husband got sprain in his leg so he gave him a stick to walk .
