A very unique & amazing experience to sleep on top of Pilatus! The views are breathtaking, the food is delicious and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommmended.

We stayed for two nights and got to climbed the peaks and see alps in the distance which was breathtaking! The half board option is really ideal for us and helped us to secure nice table and food choice. They also provide us free cable or cogwheels tickets for the 2nd day that allowed us to decent to Kriens and Lucerne. We would highly recommended this place to stay for at least two nights if you love mountains and nature. The staffs are thoughtful and friendly.

I stayed at Hotel Restaurant Hammer in Eigenthal from 18 July to 19 July 2025 for one night, and it was a memorable and peaceful experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful mountain location, surrounded by nature, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway or as a base for hiking in the Swiss countryside. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The traditional Alpine style gave it a warm and homely feel. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and made me feel right at home. I also enjoyed a delicious meal at the hotel’s restaurant, which served fresh, local dishes in a lovely setting. If you’re looking for tranquility, fresh air, and authentic Swiss hospitality, Hotel Restaurant Hammer is an excellent choice.

Excellent location. Few steps away from the bus station. The hotel gave us a pass to use to get downtown. Gorgeous city. People were super friendly!

This property is ideally located in the centre of Lucerne, within walking distance of transport links, major sightseeing opportunities, and many lovely eateries. The staff went above and beyond in every sense to facilitate our stay- genuinely exceptional service from before our arrival right through to our day of departure. The rooms were bright and pristinely clean, and the facilities of the pool, hot tub and sauna were a welcome bonus addition after a day spent in the snow on local mountains. Considering typical costs for accommodation in Lucerne it was very reasonably priced.

Very well located and easy to reach by foot, you will pass by the famous bridge if you walk from the train station. The hostel is surprisingly well decorated and the lady dorm is very big and clean, bathroom and showers are super clean as well and looks very modern. The building is quite interesting since it was a former prison!

This is one of the best stays I've ever had. It might not seem a lot from outside. The owners hospitality and kindness was amazing. I would definitely come back again.

Very nice hotel with automated check-in system. The restaurant of the hotel is very good, so we did not need to go anywhere to look for a restaurant that is open.

Wow what a view, loved this location. Food was excellent, service was great, staff were good and kind. There was a local free bus service that runs every hour, we bought the bus on the left side as you walk out of the restaurant. We were told to go to opposite side but we waited, so we went walk about and on the way back from the Hergiswil station we caught the bus at 5 mins past the hour and he dropped us in 3 mins to the Roggerli bus stop and we walked 5 -6 mins to get back to the hotel. Do not walk with luggage to the hotel, it is killing. Lucern was 13 mins by train. I am happy I stayed here instead of Lucern.

Thank you to the man at the reception who offered me a cup of tea and gave me some honey for little illness in the night. Everything was just fine, the view over the city and lake is awesome.

Plenty of parking spots and the location is beautiful. The staff are also very helpful. The check in/check out system is great too. No staff required so you can enter at night if necessary.
