We booked this hotel during the Canton Fair. They provide a shuttle to and from the hotel which is great. The hotel is located in walking distance to Beijing Lu as well as other temples and tourist spots. Free coffee and juice and popcorn at the lobby. We brought our kids along since we went to Chimelong during the weekend, and it was such a wonderful surprise when we entered a room and found a tent, books and toys & toiletries for kids. The bathroom even came with a potty for the toilet. The staff were great, very accommodating and kind. TERESA was wonderful, she really helped us with our booking (we were a group of 10), so she did her best to give us rooms in the same building despite the busy season. I would really recommend looking for ger especially if you don’t know any Chinese. KRISTINE was also very accommodating especially with the kids. and FU was also very kind. They helped book Taxis for us too.

    Another old charm of the city (even though the shops front has been renovated), is a MUST to eat at Tao Tao Ju, the original Tim Sum shop, where it started since 1880, freshly bake/make daily, the restaurant itself is also a mini musuem.

    Great location for tourists to walk to shopping Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street (上下九步行街) and Yongqingfang (永庆坊). There are many local restaurants and shops. Clean room. Love the 4 drinks (coke, sprite, beer and herbal tea) and bottle water in the fridge everyday. The staff at front desk are very helpful with information.
