Great hotel, and it really surprised us! Amazing decor and ambience inside. Lots of plants and intimate lighting add a sense of quiet luxury. We were sceptical about the location, as it is not very central, but it wasn't a problem at all as there is a tram line right around the corner that brings you to central Berlin in about 10 minutes. The room was very large with high ceilings and really well furnished. We loved staying here and regret that we didn't stay there longer. Thanks Sly, and till next time!

This hotel absolutely exceed my expectations! The neighborhood was beautiful -- tree-lined streets, lots of shops and restaurants, and convenient to public transportation. The room was beautiful -- brimming with old-world charm -- and the 'business center' upgrade had TWO bathrooms (never seen that before in a hotel room), with the best shower I've ever had in a hotel! The breakfast was sumptuous, with pretty much every breakfast food you could think of. And the staff was top-notch -- especially Knute, the afternoon/night front desk person. He was exceptionally personable, funny and helpful. He recommended really good restaurants nearby, offered 'tips and tricks' for what to see and how to get around, and told us multiple stories about the city and what life was like growing up there. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone.
