Hotels near Tarqui Beach, Manta

The staff was mostly helpful and nice, except for one male person I encountered, who, despite my efforts to tell him I did not speak or understand Spanish, he pursued no other way to communicate with me other than repeating what he wanted me to respond to. After guessing what he might be asking, the conversation was over, thankfully. Though none of the desk or restaurant staff spoke much English, Google Translate was very handy to communicate in most cases, and I had a nice relationship with them. The hotel is very close to the airport, which is why I chose it on this trip, as well as 9 years ago when I last visited Ecuador. The hotel is clean, with a nice outside area with a pool, tables, and chairs with umbrellas, a nice restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as seating in the front lobby. There is a small grocery store across the street for essentials.

Night clerk was not very cooperative. I visited without reservation and he had no rolms available. But when i made a reservation with booking, suddenly rooms were available..It was a miracle!!

I stayed in room #10 on the third floor, which offers a view of the ocean. Yes, it’s not on the front line, but a night at the hotel with breakfast cost me only $22. A clean room. A working air conditioner. A great location—shops, cafés nearby, and it’s safe to walk around even at night. Very friendly staff, who, as it seemed to me, are also the owners of the hotel. A delicious breakfast, though with meat, so I couldn’t fully enjoy it. Hot water. Fast internet. This hotel is perfect for a short stay of one or a few days in Manta. However, I wouldn’t consider it for a longer vacation. Overall, a solid 10 out of 10 compared to other hotels in Ecuador where I have stayed.

MantaHost, we found our stay with you to be exceptional. We needed a rest and your hotel was a perfect retreat. Starting with the parking staff (free parking) - greeted us with a smile and welcome that stayed with us thoughout our seven day stay. All the staff was amazing - friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is clean and perfectly located for a stay on the sea. Our room was excellent with a sea view and was always kept clean and spotless by the household staff. Since we stayed for seven days we had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant for every breakfast and lunch. Excellent food well prepared and presented which was made better by a professional dining room staff that was always there to help. We appreciate the time we stayed at MantaHost.
