Great location comfy bed, helpful reception staff

When we decide to rent a room in the countries we will visit, we care if people from our own nation have stayed at that hotel. Frankly, this is what attracted us to this hotel in the first place, and when we arrived in the city and entered the hotel, we realized again how right a decision we had made. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from places to visit in Madrid. You can find a Carrefour right on the back street and some Inditex stores in front. There is a Starbucks and a great hamburger restaurant on the side. The rooms were very clean and their appearance gave the feeling that you were staying in a real 4-star hotel. We made the first best choice of our Spain vacation thanks to this hotel. We would like to thank all the staff. We will definitely recommend you to our friends who will be in Madrid.

Akeah Hotel Gran Vía is the best! Perfect central location with nice modern rooms. We loved the rooftop pool and terrace. You get an awesome view of the city, and it was perfect for cooling down during the heatwave. The staff were incredibly friendly. Raquel and the team went out of their way to make our stay extra special. Muchas gracias por todo. ¡Sois los mejores!

I wanted to thank the EspaHotel Plaza de España for the very caring way they have treated us in the middle of the National Power Outage - they did everything they could to feed us (I am 6-month pregnant) and find us an extra hotel room for the night as we were stranded. Thank you so much!

Very central location. Easy access to Metro. Super view of the city from our top floor balcony.

The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful we couldn’t stay for breakfast and they offered us picnic breakfast that was ready for us at 6am they went above and beyond.

Very nice place, close to metro. It is very convenient to get from the Med Cool festival. Nearby was a small bazaar where you could eat inexpensively. The hotel had all amenities and a terrace with a beautiful view. WiFi exceeds all expectations.

Shared kitchen facilities. Door locking system. Little gym area.

The hotel staff were very kind and responsive, my stay was easy and pleasant. 🙂 I highly recommend the place to anyone who is hesitating where to stay in Madrid - you won't regret it!

Location is superb. Very close to the complutense university and at the same time very close to the city center

Clean, very friendly personel, good coffee, perfect location, comfortable bed, spacious room.

The hotel is beautiful, the service was impeccable and the decor and furniture were stylish. We had a room on the 8th floor, it was absolutely quiet, comfortable, clean and with a spectacular terrace. The location was more than perfect, 5 minutes from the metro station and in a nice neighbourhood. The breakfast was great and offered a wide selection (even churros).

Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful! We were lucky to get the VIP of the day treatment and loved every minute!

The location is perfect. Every major attraction can be reached by foot or by metro, which is located right in front of the hotel. Also the rooms are well sound-proofed. Esther @ the reception was a great help during check-in.

The only thing missing was a bath mat for the floor.

Perfect location right next to Gran Via. The interior design was beautiful and thoughtfully done. The staff were incredibly kind and even prepared a lovely birthday surprise for us.
