La Pedrera
This ancient ruin still teems with running water, flowing freely through the stone in a series of aqueducts, canals, waterways and waterfalls. Some say the site was once a spa for the rich elite, while others believe it was a temple – or even a fountain of youth. Now it’s a tranquil place to marvel at the Incas’ architectural skills, with only the gentle trickling of water to interrupt your thoughts.

The rooftop was spectacular - at the sunset but the interior was a disappointment, there are only a few rooms to visit. The entrance ticket is much too expensive for what this objective offers .If you have problems with your legs or fear of heights, visiting the rooftop is not a very good idea, it is difficult to walk. At the entrance they take you with the elevator, but at the exit you have to go down the normal stairs.

The night experience is worth taking.
The night experience is worth taking. No crowds, just your 1 or 2 groups going through the whole place with a guide. Great evening views from the roof top and the roof top art. Online tickets. Right on Passeig de Grazi heading away from La Rambla along all the high end designer shops and boutiques, such as Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Boss, Amani, Chanel, Prada, Lowe, Rolex, Piaget, Panerai, Fendi, Longchamp, Franck Mueller, Richard Mille, etc. Also other Gaudi homes along the street to see.

If you love Gaudi and the stories of his life and work, then...
If you love Gaudi and the stories of his life and work, then inlcude this as a day tour. The night show is good, but does not inlcude access to the actual apartments. Book in advance. Avoid the overpriced and under whelming onsite cafe. Browse the shop with your credit card and make sure to pop around the corner to the chocolate shop.
Be aware that tourist attractions that are too busy already don't really care whether you come or enjoy it or not. The next tourist is already lined up.

It's worth seeing anything Gaudi.
It's worth seeing anything Gaudi. La Pedrera has lots of wonderful details. Enjoy the standard self-guided tour, but skip the useless "extra" virtual tours. They are not worth any extra cost.

I think it works out cheaper to book online.
I think it works out cheaper to book online. They send you up in a lift to start on the roof (with an audio guide) - which has steps up and down in a figure of 8 - then then you descend by internal stairs to the attic exhibition floor (where there's a lot about Gaudi) and then down more stairs to an apartment on another floor. Lots of steps after that just to leave the building, but fortunately mostly down! The ground floor has lockers, toilets and an expensive gift store and a restaurant/bar.

It's worth the admission!
It's worth the admission! We went on a whim (at night, so great) and I'm glad we did. The roof is incredible and all of the information inside about Gaudi's inspiration from nature was really interesting and also helpful before our visit to Sagrada Familia the next day.

People are talking about La Pedrera! Explore guest hotel reviews featuring "La Pedrera"
After a miserable, cramped overseas flight, I was grateful that my room was ready in the morning before the official check-in time. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and patient with a first timer in Barcelona. From my little balcony, I could see Gaudi's La Pedrera which is on the same block.
The place has great amenities and it is centrally located in a great neighborhood, we felt absolutely safe at all times. The location was perfect, steps from Avenida Diagonal and Passeig de Gracia, therefore with access to most tourist attractions and multiple Metro stations. Ola Living also come with a reception desk or concierge during regular business hours. We were able to walk to Casa Mila, "La Pedrera" and Casa Batllo and if you do enjoy walking not far also from Plaza Catalunya and many other attractions.
We were on the top floor with a veranda. Very quiet and nice view. Breakfast was enormous! Great selections; we loved the fresh orange juice! 2 blocks from La Rambla and La Pedrera. Lots of great places to eat that were close.
The staff were amazing and so nice to us with all our questions.
The hotel was clean, nice and location was amazing, just few meters away from La Pedrera Gaudi landmark.
The staff were super friendly. The hotel itself had an amazing location, very nice and safe street. It was great value for money. Design and convenience was what would you expect of a 4 stars hotel, but not more.
