Go there! This is by far the best (and only the best out of hundreds) National Trust property I've been to. However, you need a day to do the vast area justice, and the garden centre will ensure that you don't leave empty handed! All of the cafés here are excellent 😁
Different plants per season. Could spend all day. Take a picnic or eat there. Plenty of grass areas, picnic opportunities and seats around the site. Clear map given and all areas link so you can decide how far you want to walk.
Its worth allowing yourself plenty of time as there are several pleasant walks and places to stop for coffee. A really pleasant day out for everyone and an absolute must if you're a gardener. Lots of wildlife and birds.
