Easy to spot in the centre of the city.
Easy to spot in the centre of the city. Stunning architecture and a glorious Lady Chapel. Only down side was two very noisy dogs. However, good to see that pet owners could enjoy this beautiful building.

I actually live near Ely so I visit often.
I actually live near Ely so I visit often. The cathedral is amazing and I highly recommend visiting it but you will need plenty of time to get around it all. There are lots of performances at the cathedral so look out for those. You can have a guided tour and also a tour up the tower with fabulous views over the fens.

This was a perfect base for our trip to sing at Ely cathedral. A little too far out to walk each time, but that was no problem as we could park overnight at the property and then use the free car parks during the day. Andy and Amanda were superb hosts, friendly and extremely helpful - we'd certainly book there if we were going to Ely again.

Windmill cottage is a lovely apartment, very well kitted out for self-catering overnight stays. It was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The host was very friendly and approachable and the apartment is an easy 10-15 minute walk to Ely Cathedral and city centre. We would definitely recommend Windmill Cottage to family and friends and stay there again.

Standard double room, very similar to a travelodge. Excellent WIFI, comfortable bed and peaceful at night. Great location right within the town centre which was only a few minutes walk, as was Ely Cathedral. Free parking in public car park next to property, although there are some restrictions which may mean you need to move your car from one car park to another depending on arrival/departure time.

Ely Stays Flat 2 is a small but very cozy apartment, perfect for a comfortable short stay. The space is well arranged and feels welcoming, making it easy to relax.
The location is excellent — everything you need is close by, with great links to local amenities. One of the best parts is how close it is to Ely Cathedral — just a short and pleasant walk away, which made the stay even more special.

The location was perfect to visit Ely Cathedral. We were able to park our vehicle in the hotel courtyard that was very helpful as my husband has a mobility problem.
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
Staff are kind and helpful.
There is nothing we did not like about Poets House.

The bed was very comfortable and being at the top of the hotel I could hear and see part of Ely Cathedral lying in bed.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast looked delicious although, unfortunately, I just cannot eat that type of meal in the morning.... it would be perfect as an evening meal for me! Everyone else was tucking in and enjoying it.
