Everything! Both the property and owner have character. The breakfast was delicious with free range meat and home grown tomatoes. The owner even provided some scrumptious free homemade organic cakes in addition to the usual biscuits. The location is just off the main heart of the town which meant that it is easy to walk in whilst avoiding most of the late night commotion. Woodbridge is such a lovely town too....especially if you like pubs and character buildings. We cycled along the river to Sutton Hoo which was excellent.

Health Club was lovely. Staff were friendly and efficient. Some superb gastro pubs nearby The Ufford Crown and The Unruly Pig were visited, both wonderful. Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo both on your door step and worth a day out. Can also recommend Orford and Orford Ness on the coast.

The history of the building, and the fact that the archaeologists stayed here while excavating at Sutton Hoo in 1939 is a big bonus. Nice and friendly staff.
Not far from Woodbridge are the Anglo-Saxon ship burial at Sutton Hoo and Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich; both well worth a visit.
