Hotels near Gelati Monastery, Kutaisi

Owners are very welcoming and helpful. The room is excellent, and entire hotel is very cozy, lots of good spots to chill. Very good Russian-style breakfast. We were extremely pleased during our short stay.

Very good big rooms and very clean house. Very nice view and very nice couple. Cant speak english,but doesn't mater for the conversition Very matching vister who has car. Price Including the breakfast but we have no time to eat. Very valum for money. Strongly recommed people to stay.

A wonderful stay. The location is fantastic, away from all the hustle and bustle and very close to the Shotas springs for fresh spring water. I loved walking into town from time to time, and with the bus stop right by the house, you can choose what you want today. Room and bathroom so nice and big, I slept so well. Also you can use a very nice kitchen! I was very pleasantly surprised by the many HIGH-QUALITY items, such as plates, towels, toilet paper, hand soap, windows, mattress, wardrobe....! And the hospitality, unbeatable, so friendly and really caring, but in no way intrusive. I actually didn't want to stay in Kutaisi, but I had to wait there for 6 days, which turned out to be one of my best stays ever. I would have loved to stay even longer. Thank you so much for everything, it was wonderful!

The host and the view are truly wonderful. My bed was comfortable, the homemade breakfast for € 5 , enjoying my coffee under the fruit 😋 trees, looking at the river, and listening to the water rushing by. On the other side is a botanical garden and a small church. There are many churches to see close to the Aloft house. There was air-conditioning, which I didn't use. We arrived with 3 kids at midnight, and the host picked us up. Asked if we wanted to buy a SimCard 👌 or exchange money at the Airport. The roads were good, to my surprise. My ex-husband and mother stayed at home in Hamburg. To be frank, they were a little scared and asked us to be careful. So , 2 Ladies( with 3 Kids) traveled alone to Kutaisi with a direct flight from Hamburg with WizzAir. And to be honest, I was not scared for any second. From day to day, I felt safer walking in the city ( there is seldom a 🚶‍♀️ pedestrian walkway) . The only time I was scared was when the private dogs would bark. Not the homeless dogs, not once did they scare me . We walked for 7 days several times down the road into the city. On the way back, due to the humidity and me 😓 sweating ( caused by hormones 😅) , I ordered a Bolt for € 1-2 to return back to Aloft house. Take a cold shower and relax on the balcony , looking at the mountains/hills. Visit the older Lady in her little store. It was that safe that I walked alone in the evening on the streets to the top of the hill. There is a restaurant and ordered grilled vegetables. The young waitress was very lovely. It seems that I could go on and on .... Some tipps, maybe 🤔 Lunch of the river for 2 = € 23 delicious ( shared redbeet , chicken Spieß 🐔 , Mushroom Soup, 1L Lemonade , potatoes ) at Magnolia. There is a lot of history in the city. Some streets and houses need renovation. The city is working on it slowly. The Post- Soviet Vibe is visible. The people are very kind. If you approach them. Otherwise, nobody bugged me in any way.
