It was my 2nd stay at this lovely place and what to say. I thought my stay in September couldn´t be topped so easily, but the Altana team knows better and showed me once again their incredible great hospitality and the potential of this dreamy place. When arriving, they surprised me with an upgrade to the VIP suite which has its own jacuzzi and offers of course this breathtaking view overlooking the caldera - that you can enjoy from almost every corner of this facility. The room and terrace were super secluded. I loved waking up to this, enjoying the morning sun and having breakfast while sunbathing or relaxing in the water. Such a comfy, cozy and unique feeling. A real pleasure to be there. Thanks Altana team for making another visit to an unforgettable experience!

From the moment we arrived at Stella Rocca a Mare, we knew our honeymoon was going to be something truly special. The experience was made unforgettable, especially thanks to Aris, the manager, who went above and beyond for us from the very first greeting. He welcomed us with drinks on arrival, instantly making us feel relaxed and cared for. Throughout our stay, he was always available, incredibly kind, and genuinely helpful — nothing was ever too much trouble. We were also so grateful to find a complimentary bottle of bubbly waiting for us, such a thoughtful gesture that made our honeymoon feel even more magical. Aris also kindly helped us arrange our rental car, which made exploring the area completely stress-free. The staff overall were wonderful, especially the waitress, who was so warm, friendly, and attentive every day. Her lovely personality really added to the whole experience. Our room was absolutely dreamy — the hot tub was incredible and made for the perfect place to unwind while taking in the most breathtaking views. Waking up each morning to such peaceful surroundings felt like something out of a postcard. The entire area is so calm and serene, exactly what we were hoping for on our honeymoon. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we left with such amazing memories. We will definitely be back!

Quite place with beautiful Caldera view. Fira is about 20 min walk or you can use bus every half an hour. Most of the time, we were alone at the hotel pool. Staff was very kind, especially Apostolos. Great breakfast was served on balcony.

A beautiful short hike up and down and over to Skaros Castle...

A beautiful short hike up and down and over to Skaros Castle Rock. Well worth the effort. Alot of stairs but take your time, take plenty of photos and you'll enjoy it, for sure. We took a few snacks and sat to admire the views from the old castle. We took our time (late 50yrs) and spent a total of 2hrs-2.5hrs out of our day

Follow the trail around the left side of Skaros to explore the Mother of Lord Theoskepasti Holy Orthodox Church on the far west side of the rock. Magnificient views. The hike is safe and the path is well defined.

We loved our stay here. So quiet and peaceful (March). Comfortable bed and a decent room (room 1). Loved the welcome snacks and drinks left. So thoughtful. There is an amazing cafe/ restaurant close by with free delivery called Ilios. The staff were lovely and helpful. Amazing sunsets and views. Easy walk to Fira (and the bus stop) and a lovely walk to Oia if you like a long walk. Also walked up Skaros which was amazing.

The location of andromeda in imerovigli is incredible. It is one of the highest points on the caldera cliffs, so you have amazing uninterrupted views left to Skaros rock and beyond, and the view across the caldera to oia. The hotel staff are really lovely. We were upgraded to a suite with private pool so no complaints. Also lovely village vibe nearby with restaurants, and if you want to dip into busy Thira, it’s a 25 minute walk.

The owner, Georgia & her staff were absolutely amazing, so lovely, accommodating and helpful. They kept checking in on us when we would arrive (we were delayed), gave us info on places to eat and rent atv etc. Ideal location, 10mins from Skaros rock, close to shops and just above the main pathway to Oia/Fira & view was absolutely stunning, the room was clean, bedding was comfortable.

Great studio away from the crowds, with the most stunning sunrise from your window or the front porch. The small kitchen has everything you need, from plates and cutlery to an espresso machine. The bed is wonderfully comfortable! You’re just a stone’s throw from the Caldera and only 20 minutes from Fira. The supermarket and bus stop are only 200 meters away. Jackie is very responsive and helps with any questions. Highly recommended! A tip: do the hike to Oia early in the morning to enjoy it almost alone. And go to Skaros Rock for sunset!

Perfect sunset view every evening at the balcony. Georgia the owner was very hospitable and arranged an upgrade for my separate booking. Housekeeping is done everyday and absolutely clean. The location is accessible to Fira by foot pate in 30 min and Oia in 2 hours. 20 min to Skaros rock in front of the property.

The location was our favorite part! Very close to Skaros, very easy to hike to Fira as it is only 35-40 minutes walk and the walk was pleasant and relatively safe. The bed was firm and comfortable! The toileties are quite nice. The breakfast was included in the stay, simply fantastic and it changes everyday. The hotel offers activities and can do the booking for us with good deals as well. Staffs were super friendly, super nice and super helpful.

Excellent location, magical view. The entrance/balcony had incredible view, but please note that the Skaros pathway passes just in front so there is no privacy. If you are ok with that, it is perfect.

The property is truly amazing. We stayed in the cave room and it was beyond our expectations. The room and bathroom are big and even if it was really hot outside the room temperature was reasonable without the ac. The outdoor area of the room is the special part. You have a private hot tub, with perfect water temperature. The best part of the hot tub is that it is situated away from the alleys and the people passing by cannot see you. You have a beautiful view of the skaros rock and amazing sunset view.
