We had a fantastic stay at the Conrad Athens The Ilisian. The hotel has been beautifully refurbished and everything feels incredibly fresh, modern and high quality. The staff were excellent throughout our stay. From the team outside helping with cars, to reception, the restaurant and breakfast staff, the pool team and housekeeping, everyone was extremely friendly, professional and always willing to help. Breakfast was delicious, with a huge variety of options and a really nice setting. The location is also very convenient, around a 10 minute taxi ride into the centre of Athens, with the metro nearby and several notable parts of the city within walking distance. The highlight for us as a family was definitely the pool. It is a fantastic space with plenty of loungers and cabanas, as well as food and drinks available throughout the day. Our son absolutely loved the diving board and spent hours jumping into the pool! It made the hotel a particularly enjoyable place to come back to after exploring Athens. We would highly recommend the Conrad Athens. It works equally well for a family holiday, a couple’s getaway or a business trip. A really excellent hotel and we would happily stay again.

Fantastic location close to Lycabettus hill and in the lovely Kolonaki area. The first order of business for a hotel is to ensure sleep and I slept like it was my own home. Quiet room with fantastic bed ensured a great night's rest. The helpful staff and fantastic restaurant onsite was an added bonus. Having a glass of wine on the terrace at night with a great view of Lycabettus hill made for a perfect stay. For someone interested in staying active the Presidential park is close by and great for a morning run, if you don't want to use the inhouse gym facilities that the hotel offers. I would definitely stay here again.

The Location is the best in town

Seriously, staying at Amalia Athens is like a holiday itself. Excellent staff, either front office or back of house. Rooms are excellently maintained. Breakfast caters to all types of eaters. Nothing to fault.

Nice located in the center of the city, easy access to go around

Caring and helpful staff on Reception 24 hours. As expected, my room was small but adequate for a one night stay. Efficient aircon, good Wi-Fi, and a comfortable bed. Tiny bathroom, which worked okay for me, but a larger person would struggle to fit in and carry out their ablutions. Great central, quiet location.

Very enjoyable stay. The hotel is in a great, convenient location, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms are fresh, modern, and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Everything felt well maintained, and the overall experience was pleasant. I'd happily stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Great location, very clean room and friendly staff

Acropolis House remains a favorite hotel in Athens. Fabulous location - looking out onto the quietest street in the Plaka, off Syntagma Square, comfortable rooms and exceptional service including a boxed breakfast if needed, and great care & communication should you leave behind any belongings (!!!). A true gem!

Stayed 1 night but was great:) Beautiful view of acropolis, good breakfast on the roof with very kind staff. Location away from busy areas as I stayed around Ermou prior to this hotel, but close to Plaka and lots of restaurants etc. Easy check-in process too

Great hotel at best location in Kolonaki

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly—super polite, welcoming, and genuinely kind throughout our visit. The hotel itself is very cute and charming, which made the whole experience even nicer. Breakfast was amazing. Everything was extremely fresh and well prepared—honestly one of the highlights of our stay. The location is unbelievably great. It’s right in the middle of everything, and you can walk everywhere easily, so there’s no need for a car at all. The Wi-Fi also worked perfectly the entire time. The only downside, was that on the night we stayed there was very loud music coming from somewhere nearby and we couldn’t sleep till 2am. It seemed like there might have been a party or a club event happening that night, but we’re not completely sure since it was just that one evening.

Great hotel at a great location. It was clean and comfortable. Felt very luxurious. There is not much of a reception. I would definitely come back and book this hotel again.

Location, Location, Location. It is situated in the heart of the legal services of Athens and the shopping centre. You can easily walk around the offices and shops. Breakfast was great and was served in the room. We had a choice of seven types of breakfast. The staff was very helpful and accommodated us with a smile and greetings and remember our names every time we met. .
