Krka Waterfalls was a surprise highlight of my trip through Croatia. No matter whether you've "seen enough waterfalls at Plitvicka", you MUST visit this one. Make sure you don't focus only on the main waterfall you see from the wooden bridge - it's imperative you take the winding walkway that goes up through the trees and behind and above the waterfalls - it is utterly breathtaking. Literally a few minutes walk to the boat, taking you to the entrance. We were also able to get a bus to Plitvice Lakes from here. Host was so lovely. She helped us rush to the waterfalls, so we still got to see them after we arrived much later than the schedule. The room, although dated, was clean with everything needed for a comfortable 1 night stay. The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade queice. It had separate kitchen and bedroom, and each one had extra seating. It also has an outdoor patio that is quite nice. Cooking facilities were available although we didn’t use them other than to make hot water. The bed was super comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly and gave us written directions to Roski Slap and the upper waterfalls.
