Beautiful hotel, with great design, at a perfect location, with a private beach on the lake, and several outdoor and in door pools. The views of the lake and the Tihany peninsula are beautiful. The beach and garden are very calm and quiet, with ample space for the guests, perfect to relax, with luxuriously comfortable sunbeds. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge variety of hot and cold food, fresh pastry and quality coffee. Downtown restaurants and the Tagore walkway are a 4-minute drive or 25-min walk away. Attentive service.

The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city center.

The rooms are interesting and unique. The garden was very pretty! The breakfast spread was very authentic and was delicious!

Everything was wonderful. I've been there many times. Special thanks to the management for being so considerate to us after my mother had a medical emergency, and allowing us to reschedule.

I was going to try to ask for at least a partial refund.( I’m just getting home from out time away.) I had requested fragrance free accommodations if possible and got no reply or communication. Apparently the gentleman at the check in was aware and tried to give us a newer room thinking it would help. Due to the cleaning products the sensitivities I have to fragrances made. It unbearable. We had to leave and pay for another hotel.

The pools were beautiful, great saunas and steam rooms and loved the big spout in the indoor pool that gave a great back massage
