The Queen’s Court Hotel & Residence is ideally located in the heart of Budapest and it features an enchanting and tranquil spa area with indoor pool (26 ft*14 ft) and a jacuzzi.

Széchenyi Thermal Bath

This sprawling spa complex is Europe’s largest medicinal bath. What it lacks in quiet coziness, it makes up for in sheer grandeur. Set in the greenery of City Park, the spa’s palatial Neo-Baroque building offers up the royal treatment – with 15 indoor baths and three outdoor pools to choose from. You’ll feel like a new person after all those jets, bubbles, and whirls work their magic.

It was more like a large in and outdoor swimming facility. After paying the entrance fee we had to buy towels for $18.00 each. Bring your own! Very crowded due to one of the outdoor pools closed for renovations.

One swimmingpool outside was closed, several closed inside... but still the same price.. I liked the place, it's very relaxing, but people don't always respect the rules and I think someone in the staff should be more careful about that... for instance people have to tie their hair up and some people don't... so there's a lot of hair in the pools or in the showers and it's a bit disgusting...

Highly recommend. Lots of different pools plus steam rooms, saunas and massage rooms. Bring swimming costume, several towels or robe, flip-flops, waterproof camera case if you want to take photos and pay for a private cabin to get changed and leave your things securely.

Make sure to bring a towel and flip-flops the prices charged are quite high. No rental of items - swimming cap if you wish to use the swimming pool. Good way to pass a few peaceful hours in great surroundings.

Whilst an incredibly iconic location and building and activity to do in Budapest, there is a lot that could be improved. We bought tickets online and presented on arrival to be given a waterproof wrist band but literally no other instructions. Signage is poor, tricky to understand what is/isn’t included and the lack of ability to be able to rent towels is frustrating. Most people are tourists and not travelling with a towel - you can purchase for a high price or buy a disposable towel which is like a napkin. Facilities are certainly run down, with a lot of floor tiles missing in the indoor bathing areas. The outdoor pools had lots of floaties - don’t look too closely at the water, it’s not very nice! By all means the experience is relaxing and the thermal baths feel great but lots could be improved and planning is needed if you’re going to go and spend a bit of time.

Take your own flip flops and towel and if you have one a gown. Book directly with the spa before you go. Try and get there early much less crowded. It's huge the various inside pools seem to go on forever. Don't be afraid to explore both sides. If you want to go to swim properly rather than just lounge in the pools, you will need a swimming hat for the main swimming pool. Personally I would just go to chill.
